Prices are too high. Quality has been going downhill for a while. As much as I hate to walk away from a locally owned business I won't be back until prices come down.

Portion sizes were tiny, wontons were hard, chicken was below average. If you want good Chinese in Apple Valley go to Egg Roll King.

Ordered 3 weeks ago no problem. Ordered Friday night & did not have their new menu that just came out. It was 8.00 more than last menu. All she said was we changed our menu! Big price increase !

This place has been an Apple Valley fixture for a very long time. They started as a full service restaurant at the SW corner of Cty Rd 42 & Cedar, and move to the present location at 140th & Pilot Knob Road more than 25 years ago. Not currently offering inside dining, but if you are looking for the best Asian take out food in the South Metro area, this is the place to go.

The food here is really good! I had the general Toso chickan :)

Best in Apple Valley. Have loved this place since the 1980s. Lo Mein noodles are better than you have had anywhere else.

I created a yelp account to warn everyone that instead of beef, they're serving the people of Apple Valley raw slices of Hillary Clinton's box in their chow mein. Soaked through the bottom of the container before I even got home to the disappointment.

We really enjoy the food from Lai Wah, but in a delivery order two nights ago. They forgot to send us the sauce for the egg foo yung. And that's the best part! I faked it with some packet mushroom gravy I found in the cupboard, but it just wasn't the same.

I will start this by saying I remember when they used to be called Little Walk and then changed to Lai Wah. I grew up in the area and the food was always good and a good deal for the price. As I read the reviews now, it makes me sad because it is not the Lai Wai I grew up with. The original owners sold the restaurant to one of their chefs and everything changed. I can't remember if it was Lai or Wah that died shortly before the sale, but the new owners are a far cry from what the place used to be.

i ordered chow mein expecting noodles and i was given chicken and celery in a pool sauce with a package of crispy chow mein snack pieces. and on the website it says the meal is $8.75 when in actuality it is $11.50, $12.32 with tax. the wontons were also overcooked and chicken was bland, not even a trace of salt at the minimum. i would give negative stars if i could.

Mediocre, I’m sorry to say needs improvement. We’ve gotten take out 5-6 times, just not worth it. I will not order from here again.

We ordered chicken sub gum chicken chow Mein. When I called to say that wasn’t what we received in our pick up order. They didn’t care at all. Won’t be going there again

We have enjoyed this restaurant for years, but then in the past couple of years, they kept missing items in our order, then started charging so much more for extra little things, but tonight topped it off...we will never go back... there was an ant on our Pot Stickers! Gross!! They didn't even apologize!! They just said not to be angry- they'll make us new ones! This was after I did the online order and picked it up, checked the order in the car for sauces and was already missing one, then when got home realized we were missing the Pot Stickers sauce as well, opened up the Pot Stickers and saw this....SO NASTY! BTW...the replacement Pot Stickers were SO undercooked...Nasty!! Don't go there!!

If we could give it a zero we would. As avid Chinese lovers we love the opportunity to try new places. Unfortunately this has to be one of the worst places south of the river. Not only were we missing itema, got wrong items, but we also found metal shavings in our food from a wire scrub brush which makes sense with the soapy taste. I also tried their try 3 apps, egg rolls, chicken wings, and cheese wontons... and all where over fried and unable to get to the inside contents. Even my 3yr old didn't want to eat the cheese inside the wontons after peeling away 3 layers of over fried dough.
