Our cravings led us to look up a sushi place in our area, and Google maps mentioned this place! Neither of us had been before and so we thought we’d give it a try!To both of our enjoyment, the place was very nice, with some fun wall art (especially in the bathrooms?), and a very quaint atmosphere! The service was very pleasant as well, not too pushy, and not too long in between either. It probably did help that we came a little later than the normal dinner rush timeframe. We ordered two sushi rolls, however, the ramen was on both of our minds, so we put in a second order for a bowl to share! The food was absolutely delicious and we kept mentioning how good it was while we chatted and munched. I would definitely recommend the California sushi rolls, but also the ramen as well, you can’t really have one without the other!

The service was terrible we were one of three tables in the whole Resturant , our first waiter could tell us anything about the sake so we waited for another server to tell us the menu . My husband ordered a beer and I ordered a sake flight , it took 15 min to get us drinks . Qe all ordered our meal my husband's teriyaki rice bowl came out cold , my ramen was barely warm , my son in law got his sushi about 10 minutes after we got our meals . No one checked on us so we could tell them the food was not warm . It sucked we won't be back ! Need to train your staff because your prices are high and they need to know your menu inside and out !

masu apple valley...same as masu Minneapolis on Hennepin in marcy holms neighborhood. THE RICE IS COLD! i thought it was just due to individual staff during the time of operation....NO! it seems to be policy. if i wanted COLD RICEi would have just gone into a grocery store and picked from their premade sushi...this is my 5th time...COLD RICE every time! i don't understand this decision on the rice. what's worst is undercooked COLD RICE at the apple valley location.

Ordered sushi and spring rolls which were both good. Service was ok but we waited a long time for each part of the dining experience from getting our order taken, to getting our food, to getting our check, to getting my credit card back after paying. There were only about two other tables in the restaurant on an early Sunday night. I wasn't impressed with the atmosphere. For paying that much money (more than I've ever spent on a couple dinners) I would have liked some authentic Japanese art or something. The women's restroom wasn't overly clean. It has small pieces of paper all over the floor. I notice these things because I used to get paid for doing reviews on restaurants.
Came for my birthday with my sons. Food and service was excellent. Nice clean restaurant.

The food and service are absolutely amazing. I’ve been several times and never had a bad meal. Their sushi fish is excellent and you can clearly tell how fresh it is. Unfortunately, the restaurant has been fairly empty a lot of the times I’ve gone there for seemingly no reason. If you’re looking for an affordable place with spectacular food look no further!
Tastes like buffet sushi for 10x the price. Dry ingredients. Sashimi was like cardboard. 68 bucks I will never see again.**update got home (not to sound dramatic) but vomited up everything. Literally saw 68 dollars go down the toilet. Not worth it
