Omelets are wonderful. Bakery muffins and pies are terrific to take home.

Food was good. Average for a dinner out. However, like everywhere else, the cost has risen to the point where we have to think about eating out.

I understand if the place was packed, but it wasn’t. My grandson, who has brain cancer and looks like a kid with cancer, was having a hard time figuring out what to drink. Our server, Lisette, had pointed out multiple beverages in an aggressive way, reaching over my husband to the drink selection as I was helping him. My grandson was getting anxious/flustered and reaching his limit of emotions. Lisette seemed to have reached her limit of patience. She said “you need to choose I have food to get out.” I would understand losing her temper IF my grandson had taken longer than a minute or so to figure out what to drink. Lisette did suggest coming back before she became a bit aggressive with my grandson. As we left, my grandson asked “why was she rude to me?” Yeah, we should’ve left..Kid-friendliness: Lisette needs a refresher course, keeping her emotions in check, do not take your frustrations out on a little boy because he was NOT fast enough for her

I had the cheeseburger and I have to say I was incredibly pleasantly surprised it was absolutely fantastic. Sorry I didn't get a photo to show all of you.

I went to meet a friend today at Apple Valley Perkins. The lot was full. I am disabled. Both senior citizen spots were filled. Three of us got there about the same time so we pulled into spots next to the senior citizen spots. One of the cashiers (long gray hair)came out throwing her arms up in the air and motioning for us to leave. I rolled down my window and she hollered, "THOSE AREN'T PARKING SPOTS!! THERE AREN'T ANY LINES!" She motions like she was making lines on the pavement The other two cars LEFT! I stayed ONLY because I was meeting a friend. SERIOUSLY? This is how you treat your customers? My friend showed up and she parked where I was going to park. The hostess was on the phone so she didn't control the parking. A while later, she came around to all the tables asking who owned the white vehicle out in the lot. We frequent Perkins a lot and have parked in those spots before with no problems. A walk from Petco is a little to much. Especially for a disabled person.
