We waited over 15 minutes for our drinks first off then it took another 15 for the server to come back to get our food order and when it finally arrives its by another server and our food came out in sections of 5 minutes apart. When our server finally came by over 20 minutes later I told her my wings were cold and dry she proceeded to tell me that because the wings were on special they're pre made put under a heat lamp and only wre allowed to use small portions of the Buffalo sauce. When the server brought our check is when she asked if I would like a refill of my tea which had been empty for the most part of our meal. We were not happy at with any of the experience tonight

I typically love Applebees but I will not be returning to the Austin location. My family and I have had several negative experiences here in the last couple months. We kept returning in hopes that they would be better but we were sadly mistaken. Rude staff and management, messing up our orders, long waiting periods for both getting seated and getting our food and once getting our food it’s cold. We have also witnessed several incidents by other customers being waited on having the same issues. I am very disappointed to say that the environment at this location is all negative.

I was given plain chicken tenders instead of flavored. I said it was OK, but the waiter made sure to get me a fresh order. Plus, he was just amazing! Attentive and humorous. I felt right at home!

We stopped on a Sunday evening with a group of 10; we waited over 1 1/2 hours for our food. Some of it was cold and had to be sent back. I completely understand having a group come in unexpectedly, but this was too much. We have some with food allergies and just flat out told no accommodations - have previously been here and they have always offered to use separate cooking utensils.Will not ever come back which is a shame because the food was good.

Absolutely terrible. Went there yesterday with my husband (on a Tuesday), and our food took forever to come. The place wasn't even that busy!! I drank all my soda while waiting, and I could only get another after my plate came since they weren't even acknowledging us. Even though my plate took forever to come, my husband's plate took even longer, and when they finally came with it, they brought it without the shrimp. When he told them that, they took the plate back and took a while longer to bring the plate again!! When they did, the shrimp was COLD, and it didn't look like it was fresh. They said they would see if they could give us a discount but in the end they only gave us a 10 dollar discount which was a joke, each plate costed a lot more than that. I feel like at least my husband's plate should have been free! It was even more frustrating that everyone in that place was getting a better service than we did! We ended up leaving them NO TIP!

Its ok if you are hungry for american food. Is alright. Not the best. I wss craving steak and strictly asked no blold in it and thats how I got it. Turned it back twice. The 2nd time it even had a piece of paper on it that was cooked with it.

Ordered carside to go. Was told food would be ready at 12:00 noon. Finally showed up at 12:50 PM. We live 15 minutes away from Austin. Got food home. There was no salad dressing for my oriental chicken salad and no ice cream for brownie bites. Really disappointed.

Only thing good was server. Meals didn't come at same time, missing sides, forgot pasta under heat lamp so dry. Steak over cooked and over seasoned. Was not offered anything else or comp when only person that ate was a child that kept asking where her fries were.
Try the honey pepper on the boneless wings, sometimes it can take a while for food so plan to spend an hour at a minimum.
