The new owners are fantastic. Met them at the soft re-opening. Very friendly people and they are a great addition to Bemidji. Our ice cream was perfect and we can’t wait to see what they do once they get settled. Excited for them to open the Grill & Chill on the other side of town.

Rude employees blizzard was ok. Didn’t seem like they tried too hard to make it though, went skimpy on the snickers pieces in my Blizzard. Employee who took my order had such a bad attitude.

i literally never leave reviews but i think this one is warranted. i understand this is most likely a locally owned franchise and a lot of local kids work there, but 3 times i've gotten blizzards with zero cookie dough in them. there'll be a few pieces all the way at the bottom but that's it. if i'm paying $6-$7 for it i feel like it should be easy enough to put a scoop of them in there and actually mix it up properly. i've had additional toppings completely forgotten too. the people working the register have been super nice so i don't bother anyone to fix it but it's very disappointing and i definitely will not be giving them another shot.

6/18/23 2:45pm Went to order a large butterfinger blizzard. The price is around 7 dollars which is fine but had absolutely zero butterfinger in it. When I asked if I could politely get another more made, the girls working got very rude, confrontational, and laughed at me for this. I'm saying this in hopes the owner sees this and how unprofessional their staff is. Never going back again and will forward on this encounter to everyone I run into

This DQ has a lake view and is just a short walk or bike ride to Bemidji's iconic Paul and Babe statues! Standard DQ fair.. More buy than not. A bit noisy with all the cars going by... Sit on the side and enjoy!
Today, it was over 90° and humid. We needed a cool down. This Dairy Queen is tiny. There is not enough room to eat in, but they have benches and a picnic table. There were several people in line, and I assumed there would be a long wait. They had 2 walk-up windows and were surprisingly fast. We were there less than 10 minutes. People were happy about the speed and good ice cream treats. I will definitely go there again. Kudos to the owner and employees!!
