We really enjoyed the atmosphere, great service, friendly staff, clean comfortable seating areas, clean restrooms, fantastic food, fair prices and wait time and most importantly gluten free 10" or 14" crust which is fantastic. Came back to the area after moving away and had to order Dave's. Sadly it tasted far better in my memory. The gluten free crust that my wife has to have was also marginal and had a chewy texture. The cheese wasn't stringy and sat in a solid blob ontop of the pizza. It Sadly slid off of other slices when you attempt to pull a slice from the pie.The service was even worse then the pizza. The guy behind the counter asked for my name like an oger and then blurted that they have a 4% upcharged for cards. That interaction was the summation of transaction.This place left a bad taste in my mouth all the way around. This place wasn't worth $30 for a large or the calories.

Nice looking small Italian style restaurant. I wanted to like it but the pasta seemed like grocery store frozen type, sauce is ok. Pizza is ok. Meatballs need more seasoning, sausage tasted exactly the same as the meatballs, weird. Prices are on par with most pizza places in Bemidji… oddly high for mediocre food. All in all it’s worth a try if you’re in the area.
As a pizza connoisseur, Dave's has always been my favorite pizza restaurant. Olympic medalist, Pete Fenson, and his wife are now the owners and keep the tradition of this great pizza joint going. I wish I wasn't 4 hours away.

Delicious calzone except I requested marinara sauce and it had tons of white onion (my one dislike) but still awesome! Also love the ice cream ?! ?Tried their spaghetti and it’s alright, don’t order any sides because it’s big enough!Pizza ? is delicious even cold ☺️
