The service was good and it’s a nice restaurant, but the food was lacking. The potatoes were unevenly cooked, some were hard, some were soft and they were dripping in a bitter tasting oil. The eggs were undercooked for how I ordered them. The cost is also higher than at other local restaurants and you get less food. It’s not the worst but other restaurants are better in my opinion.

The Minnesota Nice Cafe is my favorite place to eat in Bemidji. I haven't had a bad meal there yet. This particular day I had the corned beef hash and my lady had a burger. I can't remember the name but it's like a Reuben burger and damn damn damn... So much good!
I ordered the short stack, the outside was dark, middle was still dough. Husband had biscuits and gravy. He said they just tore up a sausage patty and poured gravy over it.

Showed up Sunday morning 1/21/24. Party of 9. Food was outstanding. Our server was nearly perfect. We arrived just before morning rush. Place was packed by the time we left. Definitely recommend and we will be back.

It's a solid spot to enjoy pancakes, and the prices are reasonable. I frequent this place, and without a doubt, they have the best pancakes in Bemidji.
