Sushi and various dishes that come out on the belt, easy to order specific dishes through the screen on each table and that arrive on another upper belt. As you eat, you have to put the dishes through a slot that counts them, to leave room on the table and for the final payment. Eye! I’ve had conveyor belt sushi in two other places—once in Japan and once downtown Minneapolis. Typically people don’t hold these types of sushi joints in high regard. It’s more about the fun of it. However, I think Kura Sushi in the Mall of America is excellent! Lots of good bright flavored nigiri and sashimi are on regular rotation. Shockingly fresh sushi prepared just for me. Worth the 20 min wait. The inside reminded me of a Tokyo sushi lunch restaurant. Same feel and atmosphere. People need to experience this.
