Excellent Special Chicken Chow Mein! Big serving enough for two to split for $16. Quick take out service also. Ask for extra noodles! Beware, you need to ask for additional condiments besides the one small pack of soy sauce they give you. No hot mustard, hot Chile paste, sweet and sour unless you ask! Besides, they charge .20 cents each for extra condiments!

I’ve been eating here for over 30 years, Kathy and King are the kindest people ever and the food here is amazing! The food is also a good price and you get a lot of food.

Ordered Generals chicken and dumplings. I was expecting your typical generic chicken, but it was more flavorful and with vegetables. I would say it was better quality than what I was looking for, but the fried dumplings were a bit dry for restaurant dumplings.

We asked for recommendation from the waitress, and didn't look back. Order the Beef Chow Fun and Cream Cheese Wontons and either fried or steamed pork potstickers. Must be beef, it's the best flavor! The orange sweet chili sauce they give you at the table is Soooo Good! Haven't tried much else, but this order is good everytime. Also, it is cash only, so remember to go to the ATM! Friendly helpful staff, always hot fresh food.

A go to favorite for carry out food! They will have your order ready in 15 minutes to be ready to go after you order because it will be ready fast! Shrimp fried rice with appetizer shrimp is delicious and the lemon or orange chicken are easy go tos if you can’t decide from all the options.

This restaurant has been a family fav for many years. They have been in this same location forever and what amazes me is they have the same great quality year after year. It is family owned and they are so kind and outgoing every time we are there. Now it is just to go food, but they always do a great job making sure the food is hot and fresh when you order. Very generous portions! Support this amazing local business they deserve it greatly!

I love the Lai Inn so much!! Every meal I have here is delicious. You can tell that lots of love is put into each meal: the staff is very kind, and it’s a very clean facility. The Lai Inn is a must stop for great Chinese food!

No one I know eats here. Not sure how it gets these reviews. If you pay attention, there are never any patrons there EVER!The food is horrendous. The last(second) time I tried, they were surprised that I ealkednin to order, as if no one ever comes in

This place is our go-to neighborhood Chinese takeout spot. The best thing on their menu is probably their egg roll - it tastes almost peanut-y and is unlike any eggroll I've ever tried anywhere else. The food is always piping hot when we get it to our table (except one time with the cream cheese wontons). This is where you go if you're wanting more "authentic" Chinese dishes you can find cropping up around the Metro area (thinking places like Grand Szechuan in Bloomington or Magic Noodle out in St Paul). It's straight up American takeout - saucy, usually on the sweeter side of things. But it's good American takeout... we usually do get the spicy szechuan [beef, chicken, pork] and I like like their curry dish and lo-mein. They happily accommodate if you ask for red/chili oil and or extra sichuan peppercorns. Like everyone says, no cards - cash only. (There is a gas station with an ATM across the road in a pinch.). The one thing I wish is that there were more photos on their site of their dishes... :)
