I live out of town, but was going to the cities for the day, the day before Easter. I looked at the pictures online, and ordered rolls, pulla rolls and a lemon torte cake for my Easter dinner. We decided to eat breakfast at the cafe when we were there, it was good, service was friendly and I was excited to bring the products home. We ended up having company that evening, and they begged me to slice the cake. I did. Everyone was so anxious to taste it. Five people took a bite and it was the most flavorless cake we had ever tasted. I mean, no flavor! All the lemon was piled on top of the cake there was barely any lemon in between the layers and it was dry. I ended up throwing it out as I was not going to serve this to my dinner guests. What a waste! $42.00 for a flavorless cake. I sent an email stating I wanted my money back. I got an email saying they got my message, and they will get back to me shortly. Since then I have written 3 more emails and nobody has contacted me. The rolls I ordered were great, the breakfast was good, The cake was awful and customer service was terrible. I won't make a special trip for them again. Beth Jennings

The cake is airy and pleasant not sweet. Being unfamiliar with Scandinavian torte, I was unsure if it was meant to be dry. However, this torte was too dry for my liking; nevertheless, it would have been perfect with a moister texture. It features a delightful combination of chocolate and banana, complemented by a frosting that isn’t excessively sweet.

Very good food, never disappointed. Large breakfast menu (served all day). Great Scandinavian food choices. Potato sausage is good, and love the lefse.
Neat market, comfy, and easily navigated. Attempted to get some grub at the little restaurant they got inside, but it was a no go, too busy or forgot about me?

This place is a solid cafe. I went for a late breakfast and was spoiled for great options when I pursued the menu. I ended up ordering Swedish pancakes and their wontons. Both were excellent. I will definitely keep this place in mind when going out with friends or family.Parking: Shares a parking lot with the grocery store.

Don't let its location fool you, this place is a wonderful option for breakfast. We came on a weekday morning and it was packed with elderly folks, so we knew we were in the right place. I got the French Toast Combo, which was more than filling. Service was quick, and the food was good, especially for the price.

Found this restaurant tucked in a grocerey store. Walk thru the doors and you get greated with smells of fresh backery, oh to die for, so very yummy. The foods have been always filling and delicious. Some times the restaurant to very loud and then it gets quite, because the cooks are doing there jobs and geting the food to the peps.
I have to admit, Bloomington Taste I have never been to. I have been to the North Oaksand Roseville locations more than 25 and probably less than 50. Plus, purchased baked goods at Festival weekly. I moved to Rosemount a little over a year ago, for the quality and price, there is nothing even close. Wish you were here in Eagan, Apple Valley, or Rosemount. Festival in Farmington?

We can’t believe we didn’t come here sooner. The food is soooo good, and generous portions for a super reasonable price. I got the Grecian omelette—gyro meat with spinach, tomato, and feta cheese with tzatziki sauce on the side—it is the most amazing omelette I have ever had!! i swapped out the side of toast for lefse and it was also delicious. My daughter tried the tres leches French toast and son had the breakfast burger (both limited specials), and they both also loved their food. Our server was nice and knowledgeable and the restaurant clean and convenient. We highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast or brunch!!Parking: Big lot for grocery store—easy to navigate.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly!

We were surprised to find it located within a festival foods--the cafe was quite busy despite it being breakfast on a weekday! We ordered the farmers skillet and strawberry Belgian waffles. The farmers skillet was hot and rich--loaded with plenty of cheese and bacon. The strawberries and cream paired well with the fluffy and light waffle! The cafe itself has a nice diner atmosphere. Would love to come back again for breakfast!
