Easily the best food in Brainerd! The food was the best food I’ve ever had! The service was amazing! My husband and I even asked for extra food and ordered more than normal so we could try a bunch of stuff, they were kind, courteous, and more than happy to give us their recommendations. I’ve never had a better experience in my life. You can’t go wrong with the food or the kind people here.

We went for breakfeast and I gotta say. The wait was absolutely terrible. Our server, Mazy, spent most of our visit on her phone, hardly acknowledging us. Our food was brought out practically cold. I did watch the kitchen empty out for 10 min. I was pretty surprised considering we were still waiting on our food and had been there for almost an hour already at that point. I was ready to pay for my cup of coffee and leave. I said it out loud as a server was walking by and 2 min later suddenly our food was ready. All in all I felt like we were there for way too long when the place was not even busy. Also, kitchen staff really needs to put their hair up. I will not be attending this restaurant again. It's pretty hard to mess up scrambled eggs, toast and "ham" which was deli meat by the way....

?????I highly recommend this restaurant.My family of 6 was passing through and ended up needing a place to eat. Though the restaurant looks unassuming, it is a sleeper gem.✅ The service was great with the waitress checking in at the right times and making sure we had what we needed. Good work, Candy!✅ It was very kid friendly. Having 4 young kids can draw ire from patrons and staff of any restaurant, even if they are well-behaved. We felt welcome there?✅ The food was fantastic! They had the BEST fries I think I've ever had. Our burgers were great too - with a nice selection of styles to choose from. The kid's chicken strip meals were also impressive too. Probably the best I've tasted.✅ The prices were very reasonable tooWe will be stopping by again in the future if life allows. You should definitely eat here.Kid-friendliness: Our young family of 6 felt very welcome here. It was better than most places for sure.

I was highly unimpressed with service. Came in just after 11am on a Sunday. There was 18 people in house counting us. Waited for about an hour and 15 minutes for food. Waited 20+ minutes for our order to be taken. I watched the serving staff play on phones and just hoover in the kitchen almost the entire time. Now I was hoping food quality would of made up for bad service but I was mistaken. Toast was burnt and asked for extra cheese in my omelette and got absolutely no cheese. I've been in the restaurant industry for 10 years. I know exactly how a restaurant should operate. I haven't had dinner here but I really don't recommend breakfast.

This is a great restaurant. The French Frys are the best I've had. Great Menu, Beer selection and service. Big difference since the name change to the Blue Oyster. The roast beef dinner melts in your mouth. Husband had the German burger and loved it. Can't wait to go back again.

The portions are large and flavor is very good. My wife had the fries and they are crazy good. I finished a special and could have order some to go. The waitress was very good. Quite welcoming and friendly and was very responsive. She noticed that I had two empty bottles sitting on the table and she said "I'm sorry I never got you another drink.". I thought she was joking because she was terrific and I jokingly said "ya pretty poor service" with a chuckle. That couldn't be any farther from the truth. Great place, great service, great food.
