Irie vybz is usually a great treat. My husband grandmother & I take out 1-2xper quarter. we always get beef patties, curry chicken, & jerk chicken.Typically staff is hospitable & professional over the phone. This time we couldn’t finish our order without being rushed.Typically the currie meal has small dumplings in it and is served with plantains & slaw (salad). This time the meal lacked the original recipe & flavor that keeps us coming back.The jerk chicken meal recipe was VERY different. It tastes more like mediocre American sweet & spicy bbq drenched in bbq sauce. Both meals came with an off putting flat under cooked cabbage & carrot side dish instead of cooked plantains that compliment the dishes.By nights end we both had upset stomachs.Because of this i sadly give 2 stars.Please bring back the old staff or have them train the new people!!!!

Really bad. I went buffet paid $35 + drink and tip total $50just 10 food and inside really dark.Honestly I feel really sad experience.

Food was excellent. Had the Caribbean jerk chicken wrap and the shrimp rasta pasta. Both dishes were full of flavor.... great find in Minneapolis!

Wow, the food was absolutely delicious. Service was a little slow, and not too many people there, but the food was totally worth the wait. We tried the Jerk chicken, the curry chicken, and the rasta pasta. It was all very fresh, and very tasty. The jerk was a little spicy for our 7yo, but we loved it. We will decimated return, or order take out in the future.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian rasta pasta was very good.

Really wanted to love this place. We ordered beef Jamaican patty, curry chicken, and irie spice wings.The food all came out at different times, the curry chicken was extremely salty and not flavorful enough, they have mashed potatoes on the menu but when I asked for them he said it would take a long time so I switched to the rice and peas. They were really sweet. He also said it would come with cabbage which I love but we didn’t get any. The beef patty was soggy on one side from sitting on the plate. I get better ones frozen. The wings were good but the irie spice was not a dry rub, my fault for not clarifying. They also tasted very sweet but the spice they had made up for it.Also for atmosphere there was a loud business meeting with a speaker phone behind us, and there was no music playing, and the TVs were off so it was dead quiet. I did hear music in the kitchen, I wish they would provide that for the customers

Not too many Caribbean spots in MN— but maybe few.. & this spot is one of them! Oxtails- RicePeas & with couple spinners too in a thick gravy OMG!.. I don’t mind spending the $$ Give respect to chef.. Tasty food.. we go at least few times ever so often ☺️

Been there multiple times and will keep going, spinners in the oxtails, very tasty, give me complimentary plantain sometimes, ackee and salt fish fresh and not too salty just right, I want to go to lunch buffet on a day off, and dance hall night one of these weekends.Vegetarian options: Ital
