Heard about Nadia's Jamaican Kitchen form an acquaintance. It's reputation definitely proceeds them! It did not disappoint. Took my mentee for dinner, it was bomb. Ambiance 5/5 Located on the corner of a shopping area. It's replaced the $5 pizza spot. General seating is good. 2 booths and side tables that seat 2, very clean, faux trees, tantalizing smells and great atmosphere. Caribbean music, Bob Marley of course. Open kitchen family feel with bar to seating to watch your food being prepared. Service 5/5 Very friendly, prompt, courteous and helpful service. Nadia herself inquired about the food and did it meet our expectations. It did!!! Food 5/5 Not cheap but worth it. We ordered Oxtails, red peas and rice, coleslaw $28 Jamaican Patty $5 Jerk Chicken $14 Rice and peas $5 drinks: $15 Overall 5/5 and would come back!

Nadia has the best Jamaican food in the Twin Cities hands down! I've been enjoying her food for years!

Service - excellent! So much so that we expected the food to be nasty. (IYKYK) The owner and the young men working with her (I do believe they were her grandsons) were all very pleasant, helpful, and accommodating.Rice and peas with mixed veggies entree-I always taste the rice alone first to judge the overall cooking skills. The rice made with coconut milk, definitely passed the test! It was so much food that I had enough for 2 or 3 days. And let me tell you, it tasted even better as leftovers, after the sauces and seasonings settled and soaked in. Yum!I added some jerk sauce and their Indian hot pepper sauce (Good, but whew!! Not for the weak!! lol)On Tuesdays they have specials. We tried the chips and guacamole. I wasn’t expecting the chips to be homemade. They were positively delicious!Festival was good too, and the owners says they’re vegan-friendly.Rasta pasta is also vegan, but it’s only available on Friday and Saturday. I definitely want to try that the next time I’m in town.

Not only great food but great service/hospitality. Had a minor fender bender in the parking lot and they let me sit in their restaurant while I got my affairs in order. Even offered me some of their jalapeño Mac and cheese which was soooo gooood. I intend to go back and order the whole menu. Thank you again Nadia's! (Btw, if you go watch out for the curb!).

Had the curry goat. I was kind of shocked how much food they gave me. It was delicious. Can't wait to go back and try the oxtail.

Both times I've had the pleasure of enjoying a meal from Nadia's Jamaican Kitchen I have been immensely satisfied! The generous potions are well worth the price, and leaves plenty to share or save for next meals! The jerk chicken and plantains were delicious.Service was friendly and food was hot and seasoned deliciously.Vegetarian options: Several entrees (red beans, rice, pasta, mixed veggies, avocado salad, etc) are identified as vegetarian and also offer vegan options (using coconut milk).

The food was decent. Chicken was cooked well, nice jerk flavor, although I prefer jerk to be more on the spicy side. The sauce is done well, and so are the plantains. I wanted jasmine rice but they were out so I went with the red beans and rice—it was overly dry. I have to say really a 3.8 rating because of that, and there being no jasmine rice. Plus, another personal preference is cabbage/carrots as a side vs. Jamaican style coleslaw, however, the coleslaw was decent. Curious if the restauranteur would consider adding the Jamaican style cabbage/vegetables as a side with the meal. Or, maybe I should’ve asked for a substitute? I might consider giving them another chance based solely on the sauce, chicken, and plantains.

Nadia and her son did an amazing job for catering our rehearsal dinner. Their customer service was above and beyond from the very start. We will no doubt turn to them for future catering needs. The food tasted amazing and it showed up piping hot. The flavors are amazing and everyone who tried it there for the first time all became instant fans of their food. 11 out of 10 would recommend.

I ordered a "Major Jamaican Dish"Which was escovitch ? (i.e. Fish) which comes with rice & peas and Cole slaw I'm not sure if plantains was supposed to come with it, not sureBut none the less ...It Was real good !I just wanted people to be real considerate before posting bad reviewsI had to wait real long for my food even pass the given time that I was told it would be readyBut I have learned we have to do away with this 1st world ? problem mindsetYou have to understand their are people who wake up and go to sleepNot knowing if they going to eat for the day, week or month so be patientAnd stop behaving as if you about to dieWe have people right now being prevented from being supplied with water ?, food , any kind of aidBut they are praising God & thanking him by being patienteven though they facing a genocideSomething to think aboutA faith that everyone should look intoSo before posting negative reviewsRemember these are Authentic cultural restaurants which are cooking "Real Food"So don't leave bad reviewsJust because of wait timethe reason for that, is because...1- a lot of places are under staff, because for whatever reason after covid seem like no one wants to work2- some places can't afford to pay someone because they may not have the business as of yet to afford an extra employee3-Real food that is cooked like how people will cook in their own personal homesReally takes time , which is the main ingredient to tasty foodhint: reason for the concept of fast food which equal = ? ?4- remember star reviews ?In a lot of people mind when they see it means food ain't goodThat's why I dismiss people that leave reviews complaining aboutMess up on order or wait timeIf it ain't a review that talks about taste and cost/price to portion given I just ignoreThis is an advice to anywhere you eat at especially when it's an "Authentic" restaurantBig up !, Nadia ?? Nadia's is a gem. The jerk chicken falls the bone with spices to die for. The curry chicken is equally good. We order takeout once or twice a week. Nadia's is not Cheers "where everybody knows your name" but Nadia and Tyler greeted me by name on the second visit.

Loved the food here. We ordered the jerk chicken and the curry chicken and both were entrees perfect. We also tried the fries and beef patty which were also great. We'll definitely be eating there again soon.
