We like this bar a lot. It is a dive bar that is fun, and the people are great. The prices are as low as anywhere in the Eagan area. They have a limited food selection of Heggies pizza and occasionally Petey's BBQ. Patrons seem to like the bbq.

Local Watering Hole with familiar retired regulars. Worth a drive if they have BBQ, or stopping in if you're already in the neighborhood and want cheap drinks. This is a bar- not a bar & grill. Heggies Pizza is the only food available (best frozen bar pizza in MN I say). About one weekend a month during the summer Petey's BBQ is there. Their food is delicious! Check Facebook for dates and get there early they sell out. I rated one star higher because of this food feature. Go up to the bar to get served. Good prices, ok service. Not very clean or up to date. I love stopping by dive bars like these because of their personality =]
Love the Johnson girls at JR’s.I always drop in to see these smiling faces if I’m in the area! Definitely recommend this neighborhood bar to pull some tabs, have a drink, & likely get a good laugh before you leave.
