“We stopped in from our drive from Rochester to Minneapolis for lunch on Tuesday. My husband and I got the chicken tinga tacos and an appetizer. Food was excellent. We were very surprised when our server said the boss comped our meal! It was a random act of kindness and he had no idea what kind of morning that we had. So thankful for the thoughtfulness. Will definitely be back!“

(Tip: order more than you think you'll need, anticipate many of your guests going back for seconds, the food is so good!!)“

“Great bar with the classic small town clients. Only complaint was it seemed like someone blew up the toilet so bad it put it's 100+ year plumbing to work! I think I saw the lady coming out who was the culprit. She was mentioning her lactose intolerance due to eating pizza at the place across the street. I just can't believe someone would do that to a place with such rich history in the great town of Hampton. Shame on that lady!“

“We've stopped here a couple of times every Lent for their Friday Nite Fish Fry for decades -- literally! It's always busy, so make reservations and plan for a beverage at the bar before you're seated. Once seated, the servers are very friendly and attentive. The food is amazing! You won't go away hungry. The all-you-can-eat fish, with salad, potato, and garlic toast is most satisfying. It's no wonder that it was tasted the Best Friday Fish Fry in the Twin Cities. “So, on a Facebook post somebody asked about favorite local pizza restaurants. Yes there are quite a few good local ones, but scrolling thru the responses was Meric's in Hampton. Wow, this is truly a hidden gem. Wood fire pizza with excellent toppings with meat where we purchase our meat at. The garlic bombs are delicious. Our family knows were you are now. YUM !“
