Food and service is phenomenal. Usually they have someplace to sit, but I recommend making reservations since sometimes they can get busy and don't have any seating available. I also like to sit in the separate dining area and the reservation guarantees I will get to sit there.The wings are some of the best I have had. Especially the Wing of the Moment. They are not afraid to bring some heat so be prepared for that! Fantastic burgers as well. They also make a great Reuben!The Becky from Philly was my favorite sandwich here - Please bring it back!!!Parking: Parking lot is right next to residential housing. Please be courteous and keep the noise down going to/from you vehicle.

This is one of our favorite local spots. The service is always great and we love the vibe - local bar with elevated food. We've been here many times.. everything is always great, this time I had the Nashville Hit Chicken Sandwich and my husband had the Reuben with the pasta salad, which was a special for the week. The sides were real standouts. The coleslaw that came with the chicken sandwich is money, I could eat that everyday, and the pasta salad was chipotle chicken pasta salad which was also excellent.

We went to Mavericks for Valentine's Day and the food and service were exceptional as usual! My husband asked them to recreate a meme I posted on fb. They did a great job of accomodating!accommodating!Inspiration and actual photo attached!
Hanger steak was fantastic, waiter Austin is superb, prices are a bit high, cozy atmosphere. We didn't have reservations so we sat in the lounge which turned out to be perfectly fine. A great place to hang out or to wow your guests with great food.

OMG best wings in MSP! Ordered the Cajun Yadi, May Day and spicy garlic wings. All fantastic, smoked, juicy, depth of flavor all on point. Plus the blue cheese was perfect thickness for dipping.Staff was awesome and we also loved the chili. 10/10. Must try.

Oh my goodness, the chef is killing it! Food is amazing, all made from scratch fresh! I love they have a weekly menu that is always changing. We had their royale burger (best burger I’ve ever had!!!) their hot garlic wings were crispy, well seasoned and packed the heat and than 2 of their weekly specials that were out of this world (their style poutine, and delicious salmon entree!) if your looking for an excellent lunch/dinner hit this place up!

We will never step foot in Maverick's Wood Grill in Champlin again! The manager working behind the bar was very rude and the waiter was even ruder. We waited 15 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us, then the food runner finally took our drink order. Another 10 minutes later, the waiter flew by and dropped our drinks on the table without saying anything or asking if we wanted anything else. When I flagged him down to politely say that we would like to order food please - he yelled and went off on me. We left our drinks on the table and walked out. Another time we were there the food was very disappointing. Cross them off your list!
