The food was okay, but I didn’t like the service, so when the customer orders something and it’s out, you should tell the customer not to surprise them by bringing something else and not even tell them we changed your order. I thought it was the wrong order until I asked the guy, and he said, Well, what you ordered is out, and we brought you this one instead of your order. What is great customer service?

I Ordered two of the lamb Haneeth and two grilled chicken plates for a Ramadan dinner on Sunday. The food had a weird smell right away but we decided to try it anyway as we had no choice since we were fasting and needed to break our fast. First off the rice was not edible, it was very mushy. The chicken didn’t seem to be cooked all the way and the meat had a weird flavor taste.I’ve had Yemeni food many times before and was so excited about having a restaurant open in MN finally. I absolutely love the Yemeni Mendi but what I got was absolutely no where near mendi.

First time tasting Yemeni food. I definitely want to go back! I ordered the Fahsa (a stew served with traditional bread for dipping) & Adeni Shai (Aden Yemeni tea) as well as rice. The server very kindly gave small bowls of Seltah (the national Yemeni soup flavored with veggies & sometimes meat) free of charge. The Fahsa was indeed bubbling hot (the picture does not do it justice); its savory flavor paired nicely with the rice & bread. The Seltah had a rich, warming flavor with a hint of kick. I had to bring some Fahsa home, and I'm excited for even the leftovers. Definitely try this place! It's in the back of NE Halal Market & Deli.

First time ever eating Yemeni food, this place was recommended to me. OMG, I can't wait to go back, delicious doesn't describe how amazing it was. I left out of there feeling like a newborn cradled in my mother's arms. I would give this place 100 stars.*Edit, I've gone back 4 times this week, the bread is life ?

I have never tried Yemeni food before. I had the grilled chicken on rice and it was absolutely delicious. The spices were perfectly done and in just the right amount. I'll absolutely be back to try other dishes.

The food was amazing. Just as good as the Yemeni food I remember eating as a child. The portions were huge, they didn't skimp on the meat, and the food was delicious.

Food it’s good but not authentic enough to give 5 starts, and I came here to twice to see any improvement!! I ordered the Haneeth, Selta, Fahsa, and Maasoob. The Haneeth’ smear was cooked on oven not underground. The Selta was better in my opinion than Fahsa cuz the Fahsa was oily. The Maasoob was okay there’s wasn’t enough cream was mixed with the bread! The price for Haneeth isn’t worth it but for the Selta yes it’s worth it. The tea was really good but the bread comes with Selta or Fahsa it’s not good and not fresh. That’s my honest review and thank you for bringing Yemeni cuisine to MN! :)

We went specifically for Fahsa. It did not disappoint. Something we'll crave. Also had Yemeni tea (chose the one with milk), was great.
