I ordered a custom dinosaur cake for my sons birthday as my normal cake person was unavailable. The cake was beautifully decorated, albeit the custom T-Rex I wanted was not exact, or to be honest even looked like the exact replica. I was fine with that. Laurie was the cake designer etc, she was polite on the phone albeit a bit disorganized. Upon receiving the cake, all directions were followed. When I went to cut the cake the cake began to fall apart and not only that the cake was incredibly dry and brittle. Guests took slices however they commented on how dry the cake was. Upon pickup I had l ordered cupcakes, which were amazing. So I expected a great cake. The cake was awful. I contacted Laurie and not only was she belligerent and defensive she was very rude and claimed I only wanted my money back and what did I want them not to make money on the cake. I stated to her I was very disappointed and not only that I had ordered multiple custom cakes but this was by far the worse experience. I was okay with getting any type of refund however per my conversation with Laurie and the manner in which she attempted to shift blame I requested the entirety of my $560.00 back. . she denied the request which is fine. But I will say this, if you go with this cake shop very specific and take videos of the cake vefore and after and while cutting the cake. The rest of the staff at pickup of the cake were fabulous and like I said the cupcakes were amazing. The cake itself was horrible. And the majority of it is sitting in my fridge. Avoid Laurie she is unproffessiobL

Their hours are not convenient at all and the only way to pay is in person or over the phone. When I tried to pay for my order I struggled to make it to the store so I decided to just go through with giving out my info over the phone. I was met with disrespect and a lot of confusion on their end obviously due to lack of communication, again, on their end! Will not be doing business with them!

The cakes and goodies at this bakery are really very good, creative and tasty. Expensive, but seemed to be well worth it............. I would have highly recommended them until today. They are featuring on their online ordering site, under the heading of Christmas items, gingerbread men in the act of sodomy. They had a link from their FB page to the order page. When I noted on their website that this was inappropriate I was promptly and immediately had it made clear that she (Maddie Lu) was not the least religious and I was entitled to my opinion but should not force that on anyone else. Really? Sodomy cookies featured (First time on page) to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. The hypocrisy is overwhelming. You don't believe in Jesus Christ, but you are very happy to make money off those who celebrate Him. I am disgusted with this place and I will never spend a dime of my money in there again. There are many wonderful bakeries in Anoka County, that at least won't take your money while showing their vile and soulless feelings about Christmas.

This place is RACIST. Do not give them your business. I visited this dump July 13th, 2023 around 2pm. A young woman with red or was it strawberry blonde hair ? And a woman with blonde hair were behind the counter. They loudly greeted two white woman who walked in right ahead of me and basically fawned over them. I did not get greeted I just got icy stares and silence. I stood there, smiled and waited to be greeted. The worker with the reddish hair who greeted the white women along with her co worker. Stepped away and allowed her blonde co worker to tend to the white women. Well she must have thought it was a staring contest. Because she continued to stare at me directly in the eyes with a very menacing dead pan look. I just looked at her and awkwardly smiled again waiting for her to greet me with the same enthusiasm she greeted the white women with. Or at very least say "what can I help you with?" Or simply "hello". But with stone like eyes she stared daggers. Then she just turned her head to watch her co worker help the white women. She rudely ignored me to point where the customers who were greeted noticed and very nicely apologized to me! In front of the rude worker. I thanked them and walked out. Because it was obvious I was not valued as a customer. They lost out on a $200 sale that day. I needed Macaroons for a baby shower.
