“I was driving by and did a double take when I saw their sign. I decided to stop in to see what they offered because Nigerian restaurant menus tend to vary. It’s a small carryout only spot. The woman working there was very nice and accommodating. I informed her that I’m vegan and inquired about a few of my favorite Nigerian foods: egusi, greens, jollof, and beans. She didn’t have egusi. She stated that she had greens but they’re made with fish. She then offered to make me a fresh batch sans the fish if I had time to wait. I most certainly do! It wasn’t a long wait either. I got a hefty container of food for about $15. There was enough food for 2 days (if I wasn’t being greedy).I tried my food right away. The greens were very good and clearly freshly made with quality produce. The beans were good. The jollof rice was SLAMMIN!! Perfection in the flavor department!I’m unsure how long they’ve been open, but they seem fairly new. They’re located in a strip mall with other small, locally owned businesses. Again, it’s carryout only; you cannot sit in and eat. (I ate in my car.) They also offer catering services.Be sure to check out this spot if you’re in the MSP area.Vegetarian options: Vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegan options“
“We arrived at this spot for lunch. my friend recommended this place. Well, it was very nice. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we had an excellent feeling. The meal was great. We loved this restaurant a lot and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Warmly recommended.“
“Thursdays are BOGO wings. That's when we come. We don't watch sports, but they have over 32 tvs! You can order from your table /phone, but I love the waitresses too! We get parmesan garlic wings every time and have some to take home for lunch the next day too. Love this location and the employees!“
“Five stars, I love this place! it’s my home away from home! I love sucking down fresh tenders with sauce and they always make them extra wet when I ask for them. Staff is always sweet to me since I burned my face in the fire(I’m quite ugly). The establishment is always clean which is a nice change of pace from my apartment which has the occasional roach infestation. I will be back you best believe!!!“
“Unfortunately, there's a 50/50 chance of how the pizza is; good or overbaked especially the gluten-free. The pasta ok but the chicken is a bit chewy (maybe microwaved?). Cheese bread & desserts are usually good if not overbaked. When ordering from a pizza place it's expected the pizza will be worthwhile.“
“What a great experience after a wonderful stroll around the city! The drinks were poured perfectly, the bartender was great & the atmosphere could have kept us there all night! We will be back when we spend a whole weekend :) Thanks for the hospitality!“
“My husband and I took our daughters out for dinner. Nightingale is a lovely restaurant with a bar in the middle. We started with deviled eggs, mushroom bruschetta and french fries. For entrées, we had the Meyer lemon risotto, hangersteak, scallops, and sunchoke soup. I didn't think the french fries were that good and my husband said the lemon risotto was not that great either but everything else was delicious. Service was excellent.“
“My dad and I came here for lunch, he got the classic gyro and I got the gyro bowl. Both were so yummy! Very generous portions and fresh ingredients, the gyro meat was delicious. I added olives to my bowl and got a side of the spicy sauce as well as the “white sauce” on the bowl. We will definitely be back to try more menu items!“
“Great place if you are looking for a bigger and fries joint. Staff is always super friendly and if you don’t know what to order or need help understanding the menu they are good at explaining and giving suggestions. I have yet to order something here I did not like. The wings can take 10-15 min to order but are worth it, all flavors are good. Loaded fries are amazing, definitely suggest if you’re not getting a burger with fries. I really like that the meat is halal. Only reason I didn’t give atmosphere 5 stars is bathrooms can be dirty but welcome to uptown.“
“Food was pretty good. (breakfast)Had ham & cheese omelet. It I cluded toast & hashbrowns. Also ordered a stack of pancakes. All was good & warm. Could have had a little more ham in the omelet. Server was excellent. Yes, I'd eat there again.“
