If you're staying at the hotel you can get beers for your room from this bar. The service was friendly.

False Eyedoll Lounge - Duluth had terrible service. The staff was rude and inattentive, making us feel unwelcomed. I didn't prefer the bar.

Clear rip off of the real False Idol in San Diego, cocktails and decor were poor. Bartender was pleasant. It's a hotel sports bar masquerading as a tiki joint.

Excellent spot to watch the Super Bowl!

Alright, I've been on the national tiki scene for about 5 years so I'm no where near a pro but I'm excited to get the first shot at yelping this joint. So, this is the only official tiki bar in Duluth at the moment unless you count the Jade Palace which is more of a unique dive bar but I digress. The False Eyedoll is taking bold moves into the bar scene in Duluth by offering their take of a tiki dive bar located on the ground level of the local Radisson Hotel. Walking in, the sign and surrounding scene is promising and then it gives way to a modest bar. It looks like tiki that was thrown together last minute on a budget but it meets the bare minimums. Let's be honest, the drinks and decor are what matters so let's get into that. They are strong and well balanced - not too sweet, not too sour. And for the price not too bad. Bummer is that they are using bottom shelf brands like Bacardi for the rums and Bar Keepers for their syrups. Once again, at the price it's allowable but man this place could be so much more with a little more thought and effort. I was wanting more from the bar design and feel. It looked closer to a hotel lobby bar than to what I usually see in a good tiki bar. I think bringing in a few more design elements and remove a TV would go a long way in making this feel more like a tropical escape. Hey, they have their own custom mug so big props to that. It is a hefty, well made mug at a great price, collector's will be interested. This place is still getting their feet so I expect to see this place take off soon enough. The barkeep was friendly and poured a decent drink so now all it needs is a little insight and time. I look forward to checking back in.

We checked this place out for the first time. Standard mixed drinks are $8 dollars. Atmosphere was OK.

Joe was an awesome bartender! Their tropical long island is awesome. Small fun little bar to hang out on a chill night.
Johnny is AMAZING! His hospitality for our 2 night stay was amazing!! ❤️ I would come if he was my bartender!

Very cute atmosphere. Can't find menus online so took a picture of it. NOTE when I was there, three cooks walked out and the great bartenders could only make the pizzas

My husband and I went here looking for food but found they had stopped serving food at 9. The only option was frozen pizza. The bar manager seemed harried and not particularly friendly. He did make a decent Hurricane for my husband. I on the other hand made the HUGE mistake of ordering a martini. I wish the bartender had told me he didn't know how to make them ahead of time. They use Tito vodka (which is pretty cheap vodka) and some terrible vermouth. I don't know if the vermouth was just cheap or if it was old or maybe both. The drink was almost undrinkable. If I came here again I would stick with beer or straight liquor but honestly I would just walk on by.

Would like to talk about how frustrating it was, but in the end not worth my time or money.I would recommend the same for anyone.
