I was at the bar a few weeks ago and two men were at the bar having drinks. The kitchen (I think) staff came out and shoved one of the men and started calling him names. Not sure if it was a manager or what. It seemed like the staff was mad about something that didn’t happen on site? Maybe a manager or owner should have been involved?

Monday after the Superbowl. Parking was tricky, but once inside, we were seated at a spacious booth. Inside felt like a typical Ale House/Bar/Club. Few customers, and even fewer workers. However, our server was polite and responsive. Previously reading about their Juicy Lucy burgers had us each ordering one, along with a very tasty appetizer, their Totchos. Basically, this was a jumbo (quite large, as it served us three) tater tot stuffed w/ Serrano peppers, bacon, green onions, and melted cheddar, pepper jack cheese, and sour cream. It was very tasty, and worth ordering! Our Juicy Lucy's, one Jalapeño, a Beer Cheese, and a Wrangler, also were very good, arriving at our booth shortly after our appetizer was finished. I would challenge the advertised half pound of fries, though. Our respective dishes had maybe a quarter pound of fries, each. We also shared a yummy dessert, the Turtle Brownie. This was a fabulous finish to our first visit. While there appear to be several negative reviews by other customers, we have only positive feedback to offer up. We now are loyal, raving fans! We highly recommend Crooked Pint Ale House and know we will be back.

We went for the jucy Lucy special. It was very disappointing, looked like a slider and was over done . The server was horrible arrogant and would not even throw in free pickles . He wouldn't budge . His service was horrible i would never come back again The terrible waiter was anjolo black curly hair. Very arrogant boy that new it all We talked to the people up front and she talked to the manager at the bar and she didn't charge anything for the terrible meal. Thanks for contacting me If you want a really good cheap burger go to anchor bar in superior wi or boomtown outside of Duluth on rice lake rd on Monday run special

Very good.Roommate and I didn't come in super hungry but the food was so good we had to eat the whole portion (which was fairly large)!Staff were very nice and prompt.Overall a awesome visit!

Oh my stars, this here tavern of delight deserves more than this ol snapper can give in a simple review. Im gonna be short and sweet here. The wrangler burger is the best darned burger I ever had in my near centennial on this flyin boulder called Earth.

Meh. Their one salad option on the menu lists romaine, spinach, arugula plus other things. Hidden under a few leaves of spinach was a bed of shredded iceberg lettuce. Bait and switch. Very few cranberries, which the salad is named for. Our server brought flatware for 4 to a table of 5. Didn't get the bill right either. I think the management pulled him off the bar and sent our first waitress home for the night. How does someone not bring utensils for 5 of us. We had to wait 10 min after food arrived for the last one to get them. No apology either.

My daughter and I ordered takeout and we both were very disappointed in the food. I ended up only eating some of it. Won't go back.
You know this place is hit or miss. Sometimes you get a decent meal, then at other times you get tonight.So we had a server that just couldn't care less. Not rude, but couldn't care less to do more than the minimum in almost a comical way, if I were watching someone else's experience.So we ordered the new version of nachos....so very boring. No flavor, no spice/ heat, and a bunch of the frozen chicken was still stuck togetherWe both ordered the Thursday night special lucy. "Wow", he said in a very disappointed and bewildered tone. This thing, which was presently masquerading as a burger, was small and more than a little embarrassed. It would have made a white castle burger feel proud.The bun overwhelmed the burger, and the whole concoction was uninteresting. I had to add the queso from the uninspired nachos, along with a healthy dose of ketchup, to the burger so that it did not continue mimicking a tumbleweed in the desert.At least the fries weren't as cold as the beer.Alas, I will keep searching for an instance of Duluth not bumbling a simple thing and acting as if it should be awarded as if it did some stupendous thing.Never mind, the city elections are right around the corner, so more disappointment is on the menu for the city.

This place is great! Great food, great atmosphere especially for football games, great service. There is a parking ramp behind the building which is nice. I had a pepper jack juicy Lucy and it was delicious! My husband had the pulled pork Mac and cheese and he loves it!

We stopped here after a very long day, the atmosphere is amazing, the waitress extremely friendly and attentive, my husband had the bourbon chicken salad and I had the shrimp taco salad. Beyond fresh and amazing tasting. I could come back again, like tomorrow. Highly recommended. ❤️

The place was pretty empty on a rainy evening. The server was very fast to leave before we finished what we were saying every time they stopped to see how things were. Seemed as to serve us thinking we wouldn't tip well or something. Us and the other family and friends won't be coming back, that's for sure.
