Dovetail Cafe never fails to make my mornings. I love going there to get a hot drink and one of their many baked goods. One of my favorite things to order is the Chai Tea Latte and their Pumpkin Bread. The atmosphere of Dovetail is also why it keeps me coming back. They provide a rustic and friendly atmosphere. They provide free books to read and free games to play. Along with crafts and artwork that is available to buy. One of my favorite things at Dovetail is the large windows. I love the natural light and the warmth that comes from the windows. The service is also wonderful. The workers create a welcoming environment and ordering is clear and easy.

Thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of this cafe, which supports the Duluth Folk School. Excellent coffee, beer on tap, yummy food, and lots of local art and suspended canoes and kayaks. Would definitely return if in the area.

If you're looking for a warm and welcoming community space, visit Dovetail Cafe. Yummy food and beverages for a lot of different preferences. Cozy creative space. Family friendly and great for some work as well. The marketplace offers some sweet handmade and local things for sale. The Cafe shares space with the local Duluth Folk School, so if you're there check out their classes as well ✨

Really nice place with lots of alcoves to choose from to get cozy in. Spacious with lots of local decor. The marketplace is a nice addition too where you could find gifts of different types. Good selection of teas and coffees as well as gluten free bakery. The burrito bowl was a good brunch option.Dietary restrictions: Good selection of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options with a well labeled menu.

A hidden gem.I've been to most of the good coffee shops around the Duluth area, and this place is by far my favorite. The barista was super friendly, and made a great Latte topped with art of a Swan!!The atmosphere here is very laid back, and it's easy to find a good corner to tuck yourself into. There's also cards, markers, and books to help preoccupy yourself if you've forgotten your traditional laptop, or tablet.

Darling cafe with wonderful food, solid WiFi, and a cozy, albeit comfortably distanced atmosphere. Love the unique tea options!

Adorable little shop, seems to be a hub for community, music and art. People were playing chess and enjoying some open mic style music when I stopped in last. Lots of treats available and hot drinks of all kinds, I had a Northwoods Fog which is like a Duluth version of a London Fog. Very nice. I've also had a Chai here, pictured. It is the best one I've ever had.The staff are friendly and efficient, you can also buy local art here. Highly recommended.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free items available.

This was my first time at this place and I only had lemonade for tonight. I read their info board about the building and it said that a lot of the deco around are all recycled. This is the way. I will eventually come again and try the food and work on being social.
