Our waitress was very attentive and amazing! But unfortunately that would be the only positive thing about our experience. This is bad "Mexican" food if you want to call it that. The salsa tastes like canned tomato sauce that is meant for pasta that was thrown into a blender with a pinch of cilantro. After tasting the salsa I had a feeling the food wasn't going to be great and unfortunately I was proved right. I went with a safe option and got "enchiladas verdes", I'm not sure if the chicken was canned or what was going on with it but it had almost no flavor at all. To drink, I decided to get the horchata because I absolutely love horchata but again to my disappointment it was not good and tasted like a scented pinecone. This seems like a fun place to have some drinks during the summer but I personally won't ever be eating the food again.

I came here with a friend at his suggestion because I said I had never been to Mexico Lindo. After we were seated on the outside patio, the hostess told us we needed to go to the bar and order. So we went inside to the bar and the bartender told us no, our order would be taken at the table. 30 minutes later, the table next to us, which came in after us, had their order taken and were served before us. On top of that, the chips and salsa were both bad- the chips were cold and mostly broken into small pieces with no flavor and the salsa was like water. We did ask for fresh chips which our server did bring out but they were still bland. For dinner, I ordered the street tacos with shrimp and a side of rice and beans. The tacos were very bland with little to no filling and the rice and beans were also lacking flavor. Not once did our server ask if we needed refills for our drinks and after waiting another 20 minutes to pay once we got the check, we decided to go inside and pay ourselves. I understand it is mid-March, technically "off-season", and that they weren't expecting as many people tonight. However, it was a sunny, 60 degree day so I would think they would have anticipated a bigger crowd. I really don't like leaving negative reviews and I am willing to give them another chance but tonight was very disappointing.

Our waiter was outstanding!Dietary restrictions: Make sure you are clear and firm on your dietary restrictions! We asked for no onions and cilantro on daughter's taco salad, but it came loaded with onions and cilantro!

I don't even know what to call the food we had, but it was not good. Salsa was weak. Chips need salt. Margarita was possibly made from a kit? Beans were the most tolerable. Who makes a quesadilla with cheese sauce and boiled shredded chicken? This place. A burrito isn't burrito with ground beef. It's a soft taco at that point. Cheese sauce on a chimichanga? Don't put something wet on a fried item.

The wife and I decided on Mexican food for dinner while doing a little shopping in downtown Duluth. Based on the reviews we read we thought we'd give Mexico Lindo a try for we've never been there before. We loved the atmosphere and our server came to us right away which was nice. After trying out the chips and salsa though we knew it wasn't going to be good and we were right. The salsa tasted like canned tomatoes, no spice whatsoever. We ordered the fajitas for two. Typically at authentic Mexican restaurants the fajitas come out sizzling hot, this was not. When I opened up the tortillas from the aluminum foil they fell apart and had no flavor. The only thing we enjoyed was the atmosphere, her margarita and my Modelo. The fajitas were ok but not hot and frustrating because the tortillas kept falling apart.

Love Mexico lindo! I have been enjoying there food since they opened the restaurant in cloquet MN. The mojito is delicious and a must have when you stop in. The decor and the music is authentic mexican. If you are a tequila connoisseur or just want to try a different tequila other then the big names I saw about 100 different kinds of tequila in there liquor cabinet when I walked in. Outdoor seating as well which overlooks the lake walk and beautiful lake superior. Just had the burrito Yucatan with shrimp and it was ?

Great authentic Mexican food! Chips and salsa served right away, the food also comes out fast. I got the pick 3 combo for $13.50, I ordered the Quesadilla & burrito with chicken and the taco with beef. They come loaded with meat, my favorite was the quesadilla. The margarita was $9.99 and huge! It was also just the medium size! When you walk in you can have the hostess validate your parking pass. Great service and filling food, definitely recommend!

took 30 min to get the drinks we had ordered, I had just gotten a water, then I got harassed by the waitress about taking a sip of the alcoholic beverage the other person i was with ordered, I never even took a sip of it! She went absolutely ballistic like she was on meth, proceeded to make me take out my ID even though I did not order anything with alcohol in it. HARASSED the fuck out of me the entire rest of the time we were there, she went as far as to slam her hand on the table next to me and get up in my face and say "this is just the Minnesota liquor laws!!!" anyways that girl was fucking insane and I will not be returning.
