OMC!! OMG!! They really can Smoke!!What a find! It pays to read reviews, as this restaurant is off the chart. I travel a lot, and it is about flavor, ambiance, customer service, and food variety. This restaurant has it all. The menu is BBQ based with some unique twist. I showed up for the White Alabama BBQ sauce I have been wanting to try. It was fantastic. I could put that sauce on everything. But their other sauces were very flavorful. My server (Sarah F) was great. She was very informative and gave history on each of the foods I asked about. And as a Arnold Palmer connoisseur, OMC had a great spin on their Arnie Palmer. They a spearmint Infused Hibiscus version, which represented a Winnie Palmer, and a fresh organic black tea version for Mr. Palmer. Absolutely delicious. and bottomless. The Jalapena Brisket Popper were outstanding. very unique and a great twice. Their 2 flame warning is really not hot at all. The BBQ meat platter with 2 sides was fantastic. The bark on the Ribs, was nice, but I really liked the thin layer of fat on the brisket. It made it moist and full of flavor with the White Bama Sauce. Yeah Baby!! Jalapena Grits and sweet Potato bake as the bomb. I even had their chocolate whoopi cake for dessert. One suggestion OMC, put a few more south desserts on the menu to round it out. Overall great meal, Great service by Sarah F, the ambience was comfortable and relaxed. Couple of notes, the restaurant charges a 5% kitchen staff charge, which is worth every penny. As well as a 3.5% charge for non-cash transaction which is the cost restaurants now have to incur. All worth it. OMC, thank you for letting me spend my one and only evening meal with in Duluth. One word comes to mind... "WOW"!I have lived in Duluth, MN my whole life, and I drive past OMC quite a bit since growing up in the West End area. Today was my first time visiting OMC Smokehouse! I usually frequent another establishments nearby to study; e.g. 190 Coffee. Today I was hungry and wanted to grab a bite before studying for the next 5-7 hours. OMC was close and one of the few places that were actually open on this Monday afternoon. Upon entering I was greeted by kind staff that was able to seat me at a booth (that had charging outlets), and even pointed out the local artwork over my booth; it was nice seeing local art. The bartender on shift/server who took my order; Jada. She is a wonderful addition to your establishment. She radiates kindness, knowledge, passion, and light. She gives wonderful recommendations to customers and from what I observed she is great at multitasking and making guests feel comfortable and welcome. It's been a long time since I have felt so comfortable and welcome at a local establishment. I really hope you see her as a valuable asset, because being a first time visiter she stood out from the rest. Thanks Jada!! I will be back! :)Oh, also the burrito bowl/pork and using the horse radish dressing provided at the table! AMAZING! Get it!

First, our waitress, Willow, was amazing! She was super attentive, explained everything perfectly and was incredibly sweet. She made us feel right at home. Second, the prices are beyond reasonable here and it was very difficult to choose just one item to eat. We got a half order of the Beef Fat fries which were beyond amazing and dipped in their Malt Vinegar Aioli, was beyond delicious. My boyfriend got the pulled pork with mac and cheese and cornbread and I got the beef brisket sandwich with bacon and blue cheese potato salad. We were blown away by how delicious and tender the meat was and every single side we had was just as delicious. I also really appreciated that they had a Mocktail menu. I don't drink alcohol and I don't come across many places that have legit Mocktails on the menu and I wasn't disappointed with my drink, the Wine Not?. We will eat here every time we come back to Duluth because there are so many more items we want to try!

Went in the evening, bbq was great but felt like I showed up late for the best bbq party. It was just a small step towards dry and held for to long, I would still recommend 100% but go a bit earlier in the day or go on a busy day were they do two rounds of bbq that some fresh comes out later. Meats had great smoke and tenderness. Street corn was good, grits didn't have much flavor. Using pork rinds at the table to let you sample thier 4 sauces is awesome, good atmosphere and the service was top notch. Sauces were original and different which was refreshing also had extra dry rub on the table. Was 50$ after the tip for the all in sampler and a drink, portion wa good.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly
Some of the best food we have had in a while! A well rounded menu with exceptional service. We are from out of town, but we will definitely be going back every time we are in Duluth. Highly recommend OMC Smokehouse.
