“Absolutely delicious food! Had been waiting & waiting on this place to open from the very first time I saw their sign go up. Finally had a chance to go & it did not disappoint. I went with a group & they all felt the same. Delicious, flavorful food with perfect serving sizes. Clean, cool atmosphere, & friendly, attentive staff. Will absolutely be back for more. The menu is HUGE which I am very excited about.“
“Enjoyed a great lunch here today. I tried the rendang (beef stew), and the meat was so tender. Out of this world flavors. Others in our group tried the sate and Mama Mus curry and also really enjoyed their meals. We had a great and attentive server as well. I can't wait to go again.“
“Great date night spot in Canal Park. Major fan of the shrimp hibachi or the all you can eat sushi. Be careful not to over-order on the all you can eat, or you will get a charge for not finishing... this happened to my husband once and it was hilarious watching him lean right to Make more room in his intestines for half a Phoenix Roll.“
“I've been to many of the best sushi restaurants in Japan, California, and New York where this place wouldn't get 5 stars from me, but if this restaurant was in one of those places, I'm sure they'd do the work to get 5 stars there, too. For Duluth, they offer the best possible which means they might not have all your favorites all the time. You wouldn't want them to as they'd have to lower standards, and I can't imagine them doing that.Sushi is my favorite food, period. I've eaten here a number of times when visiting or passing through Duluth. I always exit the restaurant with that warm, satisfied, and very happy feeling I get from an excellent meal of sushi, green tea, and good saké.Wasabi offers a thoughtfully selective choice of saké to accompany your meal covering an array of price points. I never buy into all-you-can-eat anywhere so I can't speak to the the cuts used in those menu items. I order sushi á la carte which generally provides the best cuts at a slightly higher price than offered in sets. Wasabi has always shined like a diamond in this area. If they're serving an item that day, it will be very good.If you're in Duluth and like sushi, make it a point to visit Wasabi. You'll be happy you did.“
“I took my 14-year-old grandson here and he loved this place. I thought the sushi was excellent, the service was fantastic and there were a lot of options on the menu. I will definitely be coming back here.Dietary restrictions: It looked like they had plenty of vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: There’s enough food on the menu that any kid could eat it, as long as they like Asian food.“
