We just had some late night dessert and coffee and were treated like we were spending a lot of money (we didn't). Our server Colton was VERY attentive, friendly and helpful with questions about Duluth. Looking forward to going back.

Pricey, for what was served. What should have been a delicious chicken Alfredo dish wasn't, as the chicken was of poor quality and not palatable. Food was served lukewarm. The atmosphere is very nice, with a waterfront view.

Grilled chicken is pretty bad like chewing rubber. Maybe microwaved left over from lunch. Taking left over chicken for dog. Taco and calamari were good.

Started out good. 2 of the guests in our group ordered the filet, medium rare. We barely saw the waitress. When the steaks were delivered, they were definitely well done. Reordered the steak, took forever to get them again. One came out medium and the other came out well done again. I had the spinach salad and that was good.

We celebrated our anniversary at Pier B and had dinner reservations at Silo Restaurant planned in advance through open table. When I call the restaurant they were great to coordinate with and helped me with getting my (3rd party) flowers delivered to our table prior to our arrival, so that was tremendously appreciated and above and beyond IMO.Our server, whose name is Taylor was really wonderful. He did not rush us as you would find in or 'feel' from many other restaurants. He was humorous, very personable and had the perfect balance of 'checking-in' to see if we needed anything. He was able to help us with wine selection, menu advice and truly had the dessert connections under ownership. :) Also... just get the dessert, even if you have to take it home, the carrot cake was tremendous. Silo... you have the atmosphere down, the chef certainly did an exquisite job on the ribeye, mussels, and calamari, however... the folks like Taylor on the 'front-line' make the night memorable, meaningful and provide us as clients unique experiences to share with friends and family. Please extend our appreciation. Thanks for the great dinner!Parking: Shared parking with the hotel. There was plenty of free parking, even on a Friday night.

This was our first experience here and the ambience and menu were very much appreciated. The waitress took care of our needs and orders in a timely manner and very friendly. Our choices arrived quickly and were fabulous. We will definitely be back again.

Our waitress was great! Very attentive and helpful. It took us 30 minutes to get the drinks we ordered. The food was excellent but it took a long time to get that too. The view of the pier was gorgeous but not worth the prices and slow service.

Second time trying Silos. Very good walleye tacos and exceptional fries. The chicken wild rice soup is great and the nachos some of the best I've had. Today I tried the short rib grilled cheese and was a little let down. It seemed oversalted and I didn't end up finishing it. I will be back though!

Wonderful food, service & atmosphere.A little on the spendy side, but that is to be expected for a hotel restaurant in Duluth. I'm glad we found this place, just by chance. Felt so fancy & fun to watch the water. Gorgeous scenery!

Our server, Taylor, was excellent. The quality of food was sorely lacking for the price. I guess you could describe us as “Minnesota Nice”, as we didn't want to complain about our dinners to our server, but we were quite disappointed. We didn't want to bother, as the restaurant was obviously busy with big parties (High school formal parties, bachelorette groups, and UMD hockey fans), and our server was quite good. But, after paying our bill ($375 w/tip) for a family of 4 (mom/dad and 2 teenage kids), we realized how subpar the meals were, and compelled me to share a review. Thank you.

I ordered their specialty burger. It came overcooked and very charred. I tried to eat it but the char just othertook the burger. It felt like I was eating charcoal. The sweet potato fried also came very charred. Hald of mine were inedible, and my friend's entire plate was inedible.

Ordered N’arlene BBQ shrimp. Server came back and said kitchen will need to sub it w shrimp scampi. We said ok. Food took a very long time to come out and when it did, it was not shrimp scampi. It was shrimp w a touch of garlic, no sauce and no flavor. When I spoke w the server he got very snippy! The garlic mashed and vegy otd were very good, as was the chix rice soup. Not impressed w server or the shrimp.

Very expensive! Bring a fat wallet! 7.50 for a pint of Bent Paddle is steep. They tax the hell out of your bill.

We went to this place for Thanksgiving buffet. We were excited for this buffet - the menu sounded great. The food HOWEVER was almost inedible. What they called "prime rib" was nothing like any prime rib I have ever seen. Very small, dry, over done, described as herb crusted - well there was so much salt the crust burned your mouth. The turkey was OK. The side dishes were ok - mediocre at best. Coffee often empty, event was understaffed. The worst however was the so called "shrimp cocktail". Now usually this is cold peeled shrimp ON ICE. But no - these were unpeeled, just above room temp shrimp riding around in a fountain thing in liquid. They were also undercooked. A recipe for disease. I did get sick - likely from the shrimp because the rest of my party ate everything else I did except the shrimp. I am a clinical microbiologist - and feel I should notify the health department. Also over priced!!! AND they gave themselves an 18% tip - FOR A BUFFET WHERE THEY DID NOTHING.
