Great Reuben, one of the better ones I've had. Wife got the Irish stew and really liked it. Okay place in a strip mall, would have been 5 stars except for the sh!tty country music. Merlin's Rest is the far superior "pub"

I want this place to succeed truly. The last time we were there on st pats my Irish stew tasted awful and the waitress you is a owner seemed very upset when i said it. Such a cool concept please improve your menu/quality control.

Eagan Arms Pub and Restaurant is like stepping into a cozy Irish retreat where everything is just right. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm welcome and a laid-back atmosphere that sets the stage for a fantastic time. The drinks menu is packed with all your favorite Irish brews and some creative cocktails to boot. But let's talk about the food – the steak and mushroom specialty dinner is downright delicious, hitting all the right notes with its flavors and textures. And can we talk about the service? It's top-notch, fast but never rushed, with staff who genuinely care about making sure you have a great time. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty meal or just want to kick back with a drink, Eagan Arms delivers the goods with a big ol' dose of Irish charm. It's the kind of place you'll want to come back to again and again.

A nice slice of England in Eagan Minnesota. This is a pub in the best sense: it’s a great place to meet friends and enjoy good food and good drink. The bangers and mash are excellent, as are the pasties and the fish and chips. Everything we’ve tried on the menu has been delicious. They have fun specials like whiskey, Wednesday, among others. They frequently host live music at night and rugby games during the World Cup.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu. Open, easy seating.

Great spot for happy hour or dinner with the family. Food is always good and the staff is super friendly. I always get the Reuben or Corned Beef Hash. My husband loves these fish and chips. And my son gets the lemon buttermilk pancakes when we go for brunch. All are consistently good!

I tried to enter Eagan arms early afternoon on st Patty's Day but the place was packed, barely standing room only if that, I sadly left, went back to the car and headed off to Cooper's just down the road...

We came for St.Patricks Day to enjoy the festivities. Did not know they were associated with Merlin's rest until looking at the t-shirts. Their mother establishment is A1+ tops for us.We ordered std Irish fare for drinks and upon requesting a non-alcoholic beer for my young daughter, whom loves the flavor of beer, were asked to show ID for an eleven year old. Obviously that was a no go. They also had Heineken 0.0 on their drink menu. Famed for being closer to truly non-alcoholic to the hundredth of a decimal point. Denied once again.I ask, "is it illegal to serve a minor non-alcoholic beverages in the state of Minnesota?", bartender replied, "not that I'm aware of but we want to be really extra careful given the holiday". So not a legal issue but more a moral perspective at issue, I read that as; we care about what others see...?The food was pretty decent, with seasoning maybe a bit bland for those who like punchy flavor profiles but all in all pretty good. 7/10 ish. Good reuben, with english like chips. Given this is one of the only places that actually tries to be a pub, we were more than satisfied and would highly suggest you give it a shot.Staff was cordial and kind given the pressure of the day. We were polite and composed, as could be.The strip mall location leaves plenty to be desired, but shouldn't be a deal breaker for anyone whom isn't entirely loathsome to dine with. If they grand fan of Curb Your Enthusiasm, might be best to look elsewhere.- On Minor Consumption of N/A Bevies -- A doctoral thesis -While I fully understand an establishment wanting to protect its reputation from a moral perspective, I get enough nannying from my state Government, thank you.I do not believe it is in the interest of your establishment to make this type of moral choice for your customers when it is fully legal and not in poor taste outside a perspective of Puritanical zealotry present in those born pre 1920, or maybe those whom activity know what a tithing is.What makes the above a bit more troubling for me personally, is the context in which these establishments make their money from alcohol enthusiasts at large. Yes I am familiar with what restaurants pay for alcohol, markups associated, and significant value associated with profits made via a liquor license. Liquor is the life blood of being profitable in this industry. I get why you want it protected, but I don't go out to get mothered when trying to buy my child fake beer for fun. *Picture wee Danny Boy denied his dram at the pub, click heels, stomp stomp, pouty face*I do wonder how many people leave this, or any establishment, overserved and above the legal limit -on the regular- in the State of Minnesota. Moreso establishments that associate themselves with liquor, and cultural heritage focused on high A/V spirits. My guess at what the opinion of Egan Arms is on said subject; no one should drink and drive, but that's a choice they make on their own once they step out our door. I also doubt they over serve unruly vagabonds with this in mind given the focus on our NA escapade. Good on you Ladies. So for the two sad sacks that made it through my loathsome in its own right, Caireann complaint; "Get to the point!" you say... I just wish my wee Irish lass could have had a NA beer, all her own, for St. Patrick's Day. Twas not meant to be. Thanks for suffering this review, they do a good job.Decent joint overall, 7/10 would ask for a young Babe's NA beer, again. Cheers ?.
