“Laid back environment. There were a couple of families with kids but definitely feel it’s more of an adult place. Great waitstaff. Good drinks. Fantastic food. Generous portions. Lots of side options.Parking: Shares a parking lot with other businesses. Was there on a Sunday at 5pm and had no problem getting a parking spot.Kid-friendliness: The feel is more adult. Bar atmosphere.“
“I have been frequenting since 1993. The new management has added a real upscale feel to the decor. The prices are still very affordable for drinking. Kitchen was closed and there seemed to be a general grumbling about dismay with new management but no tangible reason why other than the owner we had all known for dozens of years wasn't there anymore. Ole Piper is still a staple of the community and holds a tradition of providing a one-of a kind dining experience to the neighborhood. I am glad they survived for so long but I am confused about their lack of events/activities like darts, top golf, big game hunter, arcade games, or karaoke that graced these halls in years past.“
“The food was fresh and tasty. Even though we were unaware we came in minutes before they were closing for the day, the service was excellent. The staff was very kind and caring especially towards our son with special needs. We will definitely return here. The cod was delicious, and my son loved his shrimp dinner. Portions are generous as well. Thank you for the welcoming experience. It's a place where you're treated like family. Much love. ?“
“Ate here with my son for the first time and had the Cajun rubbed wings. These are heavily breaded btw (super yummy if u like that, I love grilled and thought it was that because I was hangry lol) my son got the juicy Lucy or something but omg it looked ah-mazing and I rarely eat ?!!??? loved the staff, loved my server, saucy blond minx who is also a bar-tendress, and was a hoot n’ a half☺️✨ I will be back! Normally I just walk by as I walk my dog with my cigar in hand and smile at the joyous vibe that creeps out onto the street outside. That’s a great restaurant when you have that going on.☘️??? Walkability: If you have to park up near davannis or the mortuary it’s a short walk.Food & drinks: The servers and bartenders were shaking and making and giggling with regulars. I loved it. just ask them what’s good or look (or sniff lol) and they will tell you. It’s easy to see that nothing looked short of rockstar!“
“I went on a Sunday for brunch with a friend. The food is very yummy. I got the berry waffle and although there was only one waffle, it was huge. I love the berry to whip cream ratio. I also like the fact that they have you order at the counter and then they bring the food to you which makes the process easier and more efficient. I would recommend it if you’re in the area.Parking: Plenty of lot and street parking.“
“Excellent local diner with very generous serving sizes, excellent burgers and fish fries and beer on tap. This is our go to for treating ourselves out. Seating is fairly tight and can be. Bit on the noisy side, but nothing beyond the average modern restaurant noise.“
“I stopped by for a takeout order of ground beef sambosas. The interior is very bare bones and nondescript. The lady who finally came out from the back cheerfully took my order and said it'd be a few minutes. The sambosas were fantastic! They were also the biggest ones I've eaten. I could have stopped at 4 and have been satisfied but I ate all 5 and was stuffed. I'll go back for more, and a few of the other menu items looked good as well.Parking: Easy parking in the adjacent lot“
“My husband and I ate the juice zusy and it was super delicious with natural potatoes (very good portion of potatoes), the cheese curds are tasty with the dipping sauce, and the Philly cheese steak sandwich was delicious if they grilled the chili pepper a little more and onion would be great ? ♥️Thank you for the good service Ze's Diner, we will definitely return to try more of your menu!Kid-friendliness: Good menu selection for children“
