Watch out for hidden charges! In the last month I’ve been here 3 times. The food (millionaires bacon so good !) and drinks were good and it was a solid place for a family with young kids. During our last visit I noticed hidden charges added to our bill. For example, getting a beer at happy hour $3 for a 16 oz) you get charged an extra dollar if it’s seasonal, which is not explained or shown anywhere. Also when ordering a kids meal you get charged extra if they get a juice even though it says it’s included. When it time to wrap up, our waiter, told us that dessert was included in the kids meal. When I checked the kids menu I saw it was extra and asked, And he confirmed that yes it is included at an extra cost. The costs were minor but the whole experience felt like GC was adding hidden charges which felt kinda scummy. I would prefer the just be up front about it. Don’t know of it was a server issue but the experience was off putting.

It is very rare that I go out of my way to write a review but I wanted to commend our server, Nicholas, who was an absolute joy. He was attentive, filled our drinks without missing a beat, and did it all with a very pleasant demeanor. On top of the wonderful service, our food was fabulous! After todays experience, we will definitely be coming back and asking for Nicholas. Thank you for a stellar experience!

I ordered the all you can eat fish fry, plus a happy hour beer. It took 25 minutes for my first order to come out, the fish was Luke warm, but the fries were good. The server suggested I put in an order for a refill, as the kitchen was backed up. I did, and my refill was 1 piece, about half the size as the first pieces. I ordered another beer, and a total of 2 more pieces, both of which were about the same size as the first refill. The bill charged me for 2 full priced beers, and my total was $33 and change.I probably will not return, at least not for this item

Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, but management was obviously not on the ball. Food and drinks were consistently late. The menus were dirty. The table we were at was too high for the height of the booth seat, and the place just looked dingy. Food was ok. Best part of the experience? The cheesecake for dessert was a real cheesecake. The sauces served with it were thin and nothing special, but the cake itself was fabulous!

Valentines diner for the wife and I. Overall we were very pleased. Great menu, beer and service. I was surprised to see it was happy hour still. I'm not sure if you can find a pint of great tasting microbrew for 3 bucks anywhere these days. I forgot my growler, I could have got that filled for 6 bucks. Daily specials, great beer, and very reasonably priced. I wish it was closer to home, but worth a 35 minute drive once and awhile.

We got thereon time were seated within two minutes, greeted by server within moments got our beverages and ordered. App and salad wonderful! Server watched out dining progress so that our main food selections did not come out to early. Everything was so good and nicely sized that we took the desert home.

We went for Valentines day at 5:15pm and the tables didn't feel too crowded and our server was very attentive. The food was really good, and the valentines meal for two was a really good value. We both ordered cocktails and enjoyed them thoroughly.

I had their "Lawless Brunch." It's okay for what you pay, about $20.99. And their soft drinks are cheap, $2.99 with free refills. Cons: The place was really crowded, and some of the prime rib was more overcooked than I wanted it to be. Also, some of the bacon was rubbery and the scrambled eggs were pretty gross. Some of their cocktail shrimp isn't all that fresh. The food in general could have been more warm. With that said, a couple of the pieces of prime rib were really good, and I loved the sausage and the omelets. I also both really loved the breakfast sandwiches that they had. The French toast and hash browns were also tasty. All in all, not a bad experience, but Manny's and Fogo are both better. I guess you get what you pay for.

Bottomless mimosas and a brunch buffet! Perfect spot on the weekend! Loved the cheesy hashbrowns and caramel roll.

We go to Granite City a couple times a month and really enjoy the food so we were looking forward to the brunch. Unfortunately, it was quite underwhelming. The majority of the food was under seasoned and just tasted bland. Between the four of us, we tried the fruit, shrimp, eggs, bacon, French toast, cheesy hash browns and sticky rolls. They presented the sticky rolls like they were going to be fantastic but they were hard and only slightly warm so we didn't bother with those. All in all very disappointing.
