If I could give less than a star I would. Went on a Sunday 6/27, place had about 10 people there half of which appeared to be regulars. Ordered $7 margaritas and food right away. Never received water. Server never came back after drinks. We waited over 25 mins for a small frozen pizza and wings. We canceled our food order because of the lack of service and not a word was spoken and all staff acted like we did something wrong lol. Missed out on about an extra $50 if they would have just had half decent serviceMost of the time the 3 people working were in the back kitchen. Another customer complained about wait time for food as well and was told the kitchen was backed up and there were only 3 tables of people who ordered food. I did watch several what I assume to be regulars be served right away and refilled no problem. Will never go back

Went 6/27/21 worst experience ever

My server was very sweet and kind. Food was amazing of course. I just wish the floors weren't so sticky and bathrooms were a little cleaner. Other than that...it was great.

Like many restaurants struggling to reopen in the Minneapolis area the Green Mill cannot completely reopen due to lack of staff. Sarah and her limited staff did a great job of serving us tonight. Food was great. When the Minnesota Governor and Minneapolis Mayor get back to work fixing their mistakes maybe we can all appreciate our home again.

Kind of wrote this place off over the years, but we liked it enough where we will go back. The kabeelo walleye dinner 19.99 was excellent. Wings with diablo sauce were excellent and not wimpy. The millgarita is still one of the best and you get extra in the shaker for only $9. They have sections closed for lack of staffing so that needs to improve because we like the patio on a nice day. (90 and shady isn't too hot so don't buy their excuse)

My family used to go here a lot right up until we found a bug in our bread that they serve you while you wait for your food. The reaction of the waitress was one of someone who is used to seeing that, the only thing that was done about it was replacing our bread and nothing more. I'm sure health inspectors would've had a field day.

Took my wife there for Mother's Day Brunch at 1pm. Waited 5 minutes to be seated at a restaurant that was not busy. Once we were sat it took 10 minutes for someone to stop by and take our drink order. My kids went up to get something to eat to only come back and say everything was emty or cold and dried out. Our server came up to us and stated that they are working on restocking everything as there was a line at the door of guest trying to get seated. 20 minutes later only the French toast was restocked and some fruit. By this time I quite upset. It was already going on 40 minutes and my family and i haven't had a chance to eat. I talked with another table and they stated they were short staff. I didn't need anyone to tell me as the few servers that were there were running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I felt sorry for them. I told our server we were leaving. I gave her a small tip for her effort. Not her fault at all. I really don't like to complain like this but it was aweful.

One of my all time favorite restaurants in the area. Pizza is incredible, pasta dishes are fantastic, burgers are also very good. I've never disliked a dish and have tried almost all of them. In summation, awesome food and portions for the price. If you like cocktails they also well priced and good. Love the deals of the day and member club rewards.

Outstanding. Since there are no Green Mill locations left in the city, I have to drive out to the 'burbs to get it. Always worth the drive. Consistent and delicious!

I go to this outstanding restaurant many times since I like the special atmosphere that is unique to this restaurant. The team is very helpful and qualified. The service is very fast. Most important, the food they serve is outstanding. I came many times and I was always happy. The price is honest. I highly suggest this restaurant to to everybody.

I haven't eaten at Green Mill in forever and now I remember why I loved it so. Time to make this a go-to again! We were thinking about pizza as I scrolled around on Door Dash but other pasta items called to us. I landed on the Desert Fire Pasta with Shrimp and I have to admit I was really disappointed when it came with chicken instead. The pasta was delicious with plenty of mushrooms and a cream sauce with a kick. The chicken strips were overcooked and dry, so I mostly picked around them but I enjoyed the perfectly cooked pasta and creamy, spicy sauce. A crisp, green side salad had cucumber slices, slices of Parmesan, and grape tomatoes; I ordered the Pomeray vinaigrette mostly because I never heard of it and was pleasantly surprised with its sweet heat. A salad is always a great way to break up the richness of pasta dishes, although the Desert Fire sauce was surprisingly light. We shared the fried cauliflower (ordered without sauce) and the breading was light and crispy, the cauliflower tender and moist. Sauce on the side would have been a good choice, too! Finally, RC revisited Spaghetti and Meatballs and was pleased with the robust, flavorful sauce and the well-seasoned meatballs. He finished way before I did. Sure beats my Classico from a jar and frozen meatballs, lol. I truly hope next time I can get shrimp on my pasta, or maybe I'll reminisce about being back in law school study group at Green Mill and go for a deep dish pizza!
