They used to have a really tasty baguette bread. During Covid they switched to a bland white roll that is not good at all. They need a better bread, because the quality of the bread is important. There have been occasions where we have wanted takeout from d’Amico, but don’t order from them due to tasteless bread. It sounds trite but I bet there are loads of people who feel as I do but won’t complain — they’ll just stop coming to d’Amico.

Been going here 15 years, one of my favorite places in all of Edina. I always either get the chicken gorgonzola or chicken with dried cherries pasta salad with a side caesar. The BEST pasta salads, ever (I am a fanatic) and also the BEST caesar salads. I love the interior design and the service has always been good even when someone I'm with orders a pasta to be made.

Don’t order the Alfredo it is so mid. The shrimp pasta is flavorless. However, the sausage penne is good af and the salads are bussin. If u like overpriced butter noodles order the Alfredo. Pizza good too tho. Overall, it’s good just steer clear of the flavorless pasta (except the sausage penne).

Food is wonderful. Staff is usually crabby at the Roseville location. The fun atmosphere and food make up for the lack of customer service.

I love me some pasta and Damico has some good ones! It was pretty dead inside on a Sunday evening and we were ordering to-go. Parking is a pain at this location. Even though you're not suppose to, we just parked in the lunds & byerlys and walked across the street. My go-to is the garlic shrimp spaghetti. It's got wonderful garlicky buttery flavors and the Parmesan adds the perfect texture. I was a little disappointed in my serving sized compared to my partners pasta dish though. I just want alllll the pasta. Plus this is very expensive pasta so please give me more. My partners chicken penne was also amazing! My wish is that they lower their prices. Their prices are that of a very nice sit-down restaurant but I get more of a take-out vibe here.

I had the sausage and penne yesterday. It was terrible! There was barely any sauce, and the sausage was dry and overcooked. It was as if they had kept is in a warmer for hours. In addition, even though it was slow at 4 pm, and there only a few people in the restaurant, the empty tables by the window were dirty, so we had to seat elsewhere. The manager was there, but she didn't seem interested in seeing the the tables were pick-up. I won't be back.

I have loved D'Amico for years, but my love is waning after my last 3 visits. The balsamic strawberry chicken salad that I had at least once a week when I worked near a store has become inedible. It still looks beautiful, but the chicken is dry, tough and downright unpleasant to chew. I kept ordering hoping it had been a bad day for the cook, but after 3 tries, I'm out. The grandchildren like to go there because they love the Mac n cheese and spaghetti on the children's menu. Both are delicious. That's the good news. The bad news is that the last 2 times we've been there they were out of milk. Really? There is a Lund's right across the street and I saw what looked to be a manager come in after we sat down with a bag of groceries. The ice cream scoop seemed to have shrunk as well. If you choose to eat here, choose the Penne pasta dish with sausage. That was excellent.

While standing in line I noticed the manager walk up to a gentleman in line in front of me with his very well behaved service Dog and demanded in a very rude way to see the Dog's papers. The gentleman's explained that he did not have to produce documents as it's a HIPPA violation. The manager told him that he needed to leave. As the gentleman and his pup walked out and it was my turn to order I just walked out of the restaurant as well. This is not the way to treat someone. Very demeaning not only to him but also his pup.
