3/16/2024 BreakfastStopped in on our way to Brainerd. There was no wait at 7:40 am so we were able to sit right down. Staff was friendly.Had a hot tea. Was brought a nice selection of tea. Usually they bring a small plate to put the used tea bag on, but no such luck today. I don’t like leaving it in the water as I don’t like my tea strong.Ordered the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs with American cheese. Gravy was good and peppery. Biscuits tasted like frozen ones which get a gummy texture. Biscuits are so easy to make I wish more places made their own, could even use a drop biscuit instead of the layered biscuits. Eggs were done well, cheese was an extra $1 and was two strips in the top of the eggs - not my favorite way, prefer the cheese mixed in. Also, scrambled eggs were done like an omelet without filling instead of fluffy scramble.

A classic that has been around and in the heart of downtown Elk River. I always enjoy having breakfast here. Great prices, delicious every time. Pancakes and breakfast sandwiches are what I gravitate towards. Their Carmel rolls are It's a great place to take the whole family and the waitresses are so friendly. Can't wait to be back

Amazing food and service! I love their wild rice soup. I had the wild rice eggs Benedict and that was amazing!! Breakfast food is what I always get when I'm there and it is always amazing!! Only improvement would be that they extend their hours so I can come more often

My step-dad had passed away from cancer and this was the main place he went to eat in town. And as I now live here in town I sometimes go as well. Very nice people and great food for the price if you want to go out without going broke nowadays. Especially compared to perkins the prices are way better for the same stuff.Thank you all for your service.

My preference for breakfast in Elk Rivers excellent food great flavor, the best pancakes ever good coffee, the service is amazing friendly and customer service oriented, family owned. The ambience it reminds me of an old great community with great values everyone is friendly and very polite. If you ever pass around Elk River stop by to enjoy great food, great customer service on good old town.
