The food here was pretty good. Chips were standard rather than fries but were homemade and nicely seasoned. My Reuben was solid but not spectacular. I wasn't a fan of the corned beef being cubed rather than sliced. A sandwich that can already be a little messy was even more so. That said I enjoyed it. I had fountain pop rather than any of the beer options as it was lunch time and I live a couple of hours away. The service was very good! Friendly and attentive.
In town for the weekend with a family member who has property up there, we stopped here for dinner.The place was busy, but it was a Friday night around 7 or 8 so it was to be a tad expected.The food was good for the most part, but our server sucked to be honest. First of all we waited idk how long to place an order, which was ok because they were busy, but when we did order, and I asked for Xtra crispy bacon and no onions on my burger and Xtra crisp on my fries... What a hidden gem ? at small Ely. We went to Boathouse Brewpub for the duck wings,unfortunately it was pizza night only so we had the sausage and pepper pizza on a thin crust and it was amazing. Crispy and toasted crust with the perfect amount of filling. They also had the smoked gouda chicken soup ?. It was very good with a lot of flavour. Robin was very helpful,gave us an amazing experience. I reccomend it a million times.
