“Excelsior Brewing is now one of the best breweries in the twin cities. I used to think their beers were just ok, but they have seriously stepped up their game in the past couple of years. The strawberry cream ale, spiced dark ale (can’t remember the exact name!) and their s’mores beer are unique and tasty. Their location in excelsior is great and their trivia night on Thursdays is super fun. Don’t always head to Minneapolis for great beer- Excelsior is where it’s at!!!!“

“Solid sushi spot in the suburbs! My friends and I were nearby for another event and were craving sushi so decided to give this spot a try. Interior was pretty and blue and our server was super friendly. We started with the wonton soup, served in individual bowls and it was okay. Nothing stellar but hit the spot during the cold. The rolls themselves were fresh, loaded, and tasty. Not sure if it's a spot I would drive out of my way to go to, but if I am in the area, I'll definitely stop by!“

“It's hard to forget the restaurant next door to the amazing Prince mural, especially when you experience a fantastic meal. It's an interesting setup where you order at the counter and get a number for the table and they bring the food to you, even though you get the feel like it's a waitress type of restaurant. It still felt comfortable. I got to share the meal with my family enabling me to try all the things I wanted. We got the lentil soup, the 3 appetizer plate where I chose hummus, grape leaves, and baba ganoush to start. I also ordered the 2 person feast that included the steak shish kabob, gyro, and chicken shwarma, rice, and salad. We also got the spicy chicken wrap and the falafel wrap. It also came with tahini, taziki, and hot sauce. Everything was delicious! Of course, I then decided I needed to end the meal with dessert choosing the Turkish Baklava which was on point. The service was good, and the prices were reasonable. I would totally come back here.“

The 2 young ladies were welcoming and informative, the selection looked amazing and within 10 minutes everything was gone without a single complaint. “Beautiful west metro brewery with a wide variety of well executed beers. They also have a nice location on the water with plenty of seating indoors and out. Dog friendly with plenty to do between sports on TV, to games and stages for live music. When I when they had a hot sauce tasting, and 3 food trucks. If you’re in the west side of the twin cities, like great beer and a good time check this place out! (Side note they are very friendly to the home brew crowd and brewing community in general) TOP!“

Nobody actually likes apple fritters, worst of the pastries… Until you have a Dufner apple fritter. It has no business being so crisp, so soft, just chef kiss perfecto every time.“

“This place is great! The garlic bread is HUGE and so yummy especially with the melted mozz on top?‍?. The server Nikki is one of the nicest people I think I’ve ever met. The Alfredo sauce is soooo creamy and really tastes homemade (not salty like store bought ones imo). The marinara sauce is surprisingly flavorful. Everything came out steaming hot so be careful lol. “We had a large party of 16. Service was fabulous. Various menu items ordered. Most were very good. Walleye fingers were thin and slightly overcooked. All others in our group were happy with their food. We have been there several times with larger groups and have had good experiences!“

“I've been with every iteration of the Smith House and this one is my favorite. The customer service is consistent and only matched by the drinks. The food could be elevate a tad more based on price but I dint discourage folks from the menu. The one and only issue that every customer has is parking. The lot is tooooooo small for the number of people they are able to serve. Subsequently customers park along the drive I to the lot causing tones of chaos and potential accidents. I'm frankly surprised the EP City Commissioner hasn't stepped in. So, I suggest car pooling if possible.Parking: Parking is limited! Carpool if possible.“

“I usually don’t go out of my way to eat at sandwich shops, but this was quite good. The star of the sandwich was the focaccia, which was both very soft and had a strong, herbal and olive oil taste. The quality of the rest of the was very good, and everything came together very well.The soup is also very interesting. It had a very creamy flavor, though I found it a little bit undersalted. Then again, this is no issue because I just added a little bit of salt myself.The staff were also very friendly, and made for a good dining experience.For both the full sandwich and the soup, the cost came to around $18 (incl. tax). Luckily though, you can get a half sandwich for exactly half the price of a full sandwich, which is a practice I wish more shops did. For most people, a full sandwich or a half sandwich and a cup of soup will be a filling lunch.Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience. I’ll be looking forward to trying this place out again in the future.“

“The customer service is second to none, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left it was amazing!The atmosphere here is so beautiful, the bathroom decor is dreamy and there are two private dining areas. One where I caught a glimpse of, that now makes me want to come back and celebrate there.We went in around 3pm on a Saturday, ordered the baked brie, lobster risotto and the prickly pear mojito.. there are unique additions to their menu items and everything was delicious, but I enjoyed my risotto most of all.I would recommend dining here!“
