“Really nice classic Greek spot. It’s been in the same place in Minneapolis downtown since 1990 and the food shows. Not only that, the person who set it up still cooks and serves the food. Quality food in a nice cozy spot. You can’t go wrong with it if you’re just looking for a quick lunch while you’re in Downtown.Vegetarian options: There is falafel“

“We tried Opa! for the first time yesterday. Had lamb pita sandwiches with all the fixings and fries. Soooo good. Great amount of lamb in sandwich. Great flavor. French Fries with dipping sauce was a nice touch. I'd definitely eat there again. Fresh and tasty. Yum!“

“Wow!! I love finding wonderful new locally owned neighborhood restaurants!! Went here for breakfast, and got right in. We had the pancakes with a really good honey yogurt and blueberry toppings. And the breakfast burrito that came with some delicious greens that had a unique lemon vinegrette dressing. It was all delicious! They have different lunch and dinner menus that will swing back thru to try. Highly suggest!“

“Shout out to Christos Greek Restaurant and love to Gus, a truly amazing person who has kept this wonderful landmark alive and well for so many years! We have never had more delicious food anywhere! My choice was the lamb shank which was cooked to perfection, so tender it fell off the bone and didn't need a knife. Dessert for me was the mousse au chocolat (always) and having tried it at every restaurant that offers it, Christos will never be outdone. It should be mentioned that the salads are always made with what our daughter calls "happy veggies," always fresh and beautiful! the soups are all wonderfully special and "home made" as well. No one comes even close to the love and care that goes into this dining piece of heaven. Enjoying your delectable meal at Christos feels as good as a warm hug from your mom. Salut to happy tummies! :)“

“Ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with fries. This was probably the best executed chicken sandwich I've ever eaten. The veg was fresh, bun perfect and toasted, chicken was thick and cooked in clean oil. The fries were probably top 3 fries I've ever had in my life, they definitely know what they are doing. Staff friendly, place clean, kitchen clean. Absolutely recommend“

“I wasn’t planning to go here as I was driving on Central Avenue near Fridley. I was actually going to one of my favorite Korean restaurants about half a mile up. As I was driving, I a saw a big tent and a crowd of people. So I flipped around and wanted to check this place out. Looks like they were celebrating Ramadan. I’m glad I saw this place because the food was delicious ?The lamb, beef kabobs, kofta, fresh tabouli and hummus were amazing. There were a lot of other food that I don’t know the names but were equally yummy. It was crazy busy but I think it was because of the celebration they were having.“

“I visited spicy feta for the first time today and I had an amazing experience. Although I was only taking-out, I had an opportunity to talk and look over the menu with an employee, explaining what each item was and what it had on it. I never eaten here before so I didn’t know what to expect, but both the people I talked to were extremely helpful. I ended up getting the Naughty Greek wrap with a side of fries. It was almost a Mediterranean burrito style wrap, the chicken, Shawarma was super juicy and flavorful, and it paired well with the veggies, feta, and Taziki. The only thing I didn’t like about my wrap is I asked for no olives and there was olives, however it was still delicious. The fries are light and airy, but super crispy and seasoned perfectly with a savory salty spice blend. One of the people I talk to let me sample out their lemonades, and help me decide which one I wanted. They were very patient and helpful and I will returning back soon.“

“I can honestly say I didn't see this place coming at all! In a blink-and-you'll-miss-it storefront lies some of the best Mediterranean-casual food I've had in a long time! While finding a parking spot might be a nightmare, the restaurant greets you with delicious scents and the sounds of a staff working efficiently to put your meal together. The kiosks in the front make checking out the menu and ordering an easy experience, and once your order has been put in, you can hang out in the comfortable atmosphere for a while. No, this isn't a revelatory visual experience, but the food here is a revelation.I ordered the Apollo Spice wrap, and it was so delicious and thoughtfully constructed. There's a heat to this pseudo-burrito that makes you want to come back for another bite after you've cooled off. The side of rice gave some reprieve and additional flavors.Truly, this was just a great lunch for a reasonable price. My wife and I were able to share this meal, so at $10 a person, I bet you won't find anything else in the area of that quality at that price. We will certainly come back for seconds!!!“

Fresh flowers on the tables, tea light candles, interesting wall (and ceiling) art, and great food. Try the dolmades, we got 4 of them for only 3 bucks. they were worth their weight in gold. “Delcious foods, fresh hot fries, clean facility, multi flavored soda machine I had Cherry Nountain Dew (Ice Cold) Don Henley and Carlos Santana playing on stores stereo system. Stopped in real quick for restroom break when out driving and ended eating real quick.“
