“We eat a lot of South Asian food, and Spice & Tonic has some of the best we’ve had in the Twin Cities area! The tandoori chicken was delicious and exceptionally moist, while the chicken curry was flavorful. Plus, the prices were reasonable. Inside, the decor was lovely and the staff friendly and fast. We highly recommend it!“

“Dining here was an absolute joy for my husband and me. Every bite of the authentic and delicious food transported us to the heart of Nepal. Savoring the flavors under the outdoors, covered patio alongside a refreshing Nepali beer was perfection. Above all, the hospitality surpassed all expectation. The owner made us feel like we were being welcomed home! He shared his homemade pickled aachar and homemade tomato spicy aachar which was so kind of him. Trust me, a visit here is not just a meal, it's an unforgettable and genuine memory. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try!!“

“It is the best place to find the Indian food. We are traveling from Chicago to Minnesota on the weekend and this restaurant is the best spot to enjoy the morning breakfast dosa and Chola bhatura . Ambience, Taste, quality and quantity all are five out of five. God bless , running very good business and giving the best customer service as well. Must try one time.“

“We had a wonderful experience at India Kutir. This was the best Indian food I have had. I had the Salmon Tikka Masala my husband had the lamb Vindaloo. We also had some appetizers and garlic naan with our meals. This was the first time to try salmon in the tikka masala and it was amazing! The salmon was perfectly cooked and was complimented by the sauce. The vegetable pakora had a perfectly flaky and delicious crust the inside was full of spiced potatoes and peas. I cannot say enough good things about this place! It’s unfortunate that I am 2 hours away.“

“A small Indian restaurant that seems to be run by a family. The food is AMAZING and the pricing is even better. This is not what we expected when we stopped by for a quick bite. If I am in the neighborhood I would definitely visit again! The dosa, idly and tea are must try and once again the price and the service provided are top notch“

“Amazing food! Delivered hot and fresh. Great flavor and price. Feels like northeast can be a little lacking in the not overly trendy Indian food market and this place blew us away! We will absolutely order again. Samosas, naan, tikka masala and matar paneer were all “

“I was coming back upstairs from the DMV and saw this HUGE market full of a dozen or so restaurants cafeteria style, so I had to get something. Momodosa is a Nepalese/Indian takeout spot inside the Midtown Global market and has a very casual setting. I wasn't expecting much given that it seems very new and I just went with their bison momo (the dumplings filled with bison meat) with the Mango Chassi. Place wasn't busy on a Wednesday evening, which is a plus but it kinda feels like it could be busier. Price was slightly over $20 which tbh is okay given that the bison momo was...okay. I have to say that it seems like you HAVE to have the orange spicy sauce on it for it to be any good, as plain or with the green sauce it's mild in spiciness and flavor. 4/5 with Orange sauce and 3/5 with anything else. The Mango lassi was decent but for a $4 cup it's pretty small. Definitely more like half a cup than the other South Asian place that I had in MPLS. 3/5 Overall: 3.5/5 but I'm rounding up, I still felt hungry afterwards for a $20 dinner but overall the food is decent and will use it as a measuring mark when trying other foods in Midtown Global market.“

“I walked in hungry as heck in a Saturday night, I was out doing my thang you know hehe.. anyways I hoped on Google and was like what's open right now. I saw all these fast food stuff and I was like naw that stuff is trash makes my stomach hurt like a mothaa** anyways I saw this place but was confused by the two restaurants they had in one spot. If you noticed it or not this place has two names the first name and most popular is called "The Hyderabad Indian Grill Fridley" while the other name is "Dosa South Indian Grill" kind of silly I know. Turns out the "Dosa South Indian Grill" is more for breakfast and appetizers while the other one is more of dinner and lunch. Yeah I know what you're thinking not a very smart business move but hey respect the owners hustle. Back to the review, so basically I order a huge as meal cause I was starving, I ordered an appetizer called Chilly chicken - Boneless cubes of chicken marinated in corn our batter, deep fried & tossed with chilly sauce & spices , and Indian BreadPeshawari Naan - Sweet Naan stuffed with nuts and raisins and baked in a tandoor, as well to top it off with my main entree and dessert. I got DessertGulab Jamun (4 pieces) - Deep fried milk balls in sweet syrup, and I forgot what the main entree was called I'll be honest you show up here and you're not indian you won't know what anything in the menu is besides curry haha. I just saw a picture and was like that looks like a lot of food I'll get that (see pictures). Anyways order was fast they kept it coming but only cause the place was about to close, speed will definitely vary. As I was chowing down in my grub, I noticed a lot of dashers coming in and out. I was like dang alright people know the spot for them munchies haha. It wasn't until I was just about getting stuffed one carry out person came in...that's when it happened! A Karen came in late at night demanding her order be brought with immediate haste! Haha she was rambling and even went on a hunt to look for the attendant at the front desk. She was upset that she had to wait a few minutes for her order can you believe that a few minutes the world was ending or something! She was going back and forth abouf her drink not being filled to the top etc you name it she complained about it late at night I remind you! Anyways the attendant was keeping his cool doing his thing you know haha, eventually she got her meal and rode off to the dark night. Unfortunately I was not able to conquer my main entree completely..but besides it being good the only issue I had was that I'm almost 70% sure the chicken they gave me was cooked earlier in the day and they just tossed it into the microwave for about 3-5 minutes thinking I wouldn't notice while they covered it with the rice but besides that being pretty funny the food was ight if you're really craving Indian food come here you won't be disappointed definitely not next tier but a good restaurant for a quick date night. Out of topic but as I was about to pay saw this cute Indian girl come in and I'm pretty sure she was with her man but I was about to make that move y'all and have indian everyday!!! But yeah in conclusion I give this place a badass seal of approval! (See pictures for more details of this night.)Vegetarian options: You'll be fine trust me, don't have to keep your friends from having a good meal!Parking: Plenty of parking you won't struggle trust me.Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly environment no issues.Wheelchair accessibility: You wheelies got no problem coming here ;)“
