Great place for dinner and drinks. Lots of specials to tempt you. We ate hear a couple times because it was near to our hotel. I loved the pace of friendly but relaxed service. Everything we sampled from the menu was delicious! Large selection of tap beers and variety in menu options.

Popular spots/dive bar right off 394 in Golden Valley, JJ's Clubhouse is a popular local haunt. With a broad food menu, events and ample tap list, there's truly something for everyone. Service is prompt, if albeit cold. Food is decidedly average and with smaller portion sizes it feels overpriced compared to comps in the area. Drinks are also fine, but again feel overpriced. Lots of parking behind and around the restaurant is also a definite plus.
In town for a few days…new to Minneapolis…stayed out west and wanted a quick burger and some sports on tv…..JJ’s was an excellent choice ! Very friendly staff and a very good crowd for a Tues night…you can tell this is frequented by the local community. HIGHLY IMPRESSED BY ACTION OF JAY THE BARTENDER …..during a fairly busy time, a server accidentally tipped over a glass which ended up in his ice tray…he discovered a chip in the glass….he took the time to empty the entire bin of ice and replace it with clean ice…he did this with no prompting and out of sight of the customers…..DOING THE RIGHT THING WHEN NOBODY IS LOOKING ! I will definitely come back and patronize this establishment again !

JJ’s has a large menu for a bar. Their food is decent, the onion rings are awesome, and there is a good selection of tap beers including IPA’s which are my preference.The only reason I didn’t give more stars is because the service is consistently inconsistent. More often than not, the service is poor…as it was today. We watched customers arrive after us, order, eat and leave before we got our food. Our server definitely had plenty of attitude, it seemed we were an inconvenience to her. Based on this experience, I would not return.

This is a new place we discovered as it is close to my new office location. The dinners here have been amazingly good. Last night the service was lacking but they were busy and looked to be understaffed that night.
Came in for lunch and was served by amiah, she went above and beyond in both service and attitude and made my experience immaculate, will definitely be coming back for the service and amazing food !

This is one of those restaurants that is not great, but not bad either. The food here is ok. The chicken BLT I had was pretty dry. But the service was good and the food came out quickly despite it being busy. So overall not bad at all.
