“Our waitress Brooke was great. Very busy night but she managed everything really well and always smiling. We were there last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary a few weeks early. We were married there as well as 6 years ago August 25th. Great place for a wedding too. I had the Ruben wich was excellent. My wife had the fish and chips and enjoyed them. Said was the best she's had in a long time. Keep up the great work.“

“Great place with good food and service. Went early on a Friday night and when we left it was full. My wife had the juicy Lucy and I had the grilled chicken on a ciabatta bun. Both were delicious along with the mozzarella sticks that we ordered for appetizer. Definitely will be back.“

“If you’re in Oak Grove MN you have to stop in and try this delicious restaurant out! You won’t be disappointed!Their food is amazing the popular Pancake that is the size of the plate is so yummy! You’ll probably have to take a to go box home! The owners are so nice they are usually cooking with the cooks in the back when they aren’t they are they are talking to the guest and making sure everything is going well! The staff is very friendly and welcoming!The restaurant itself is very clean I honestly don’t know a bar that is as clean as this one!The drinks are amazing along with Faith the Bartender she can make most any drink! They have holiday drinks when a holiday is coming!If you come here I betcha you will be back again! I have made so many great friends here! “Casual and cozy bar/diner (actually never been on the "restaurant" side) with a big menu. We always try to get a seat at the bar, good luck! Usually always busy and bustling. Bartenders and servers are friendly and attentive. Go here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner... sure to satisfy!“

“Nice course, some challenging dog legs left and the greens were tough for sure!Play was a little slow because the foursome in front of us thought it should take 20 minutes to play every hole apparently. Almost 4 hours for a twosome to play, but course was very nice!“

“Shari is a great bartender, very friendly, smiley person, she does a great job making everyone feel welcome.We didn't eat, but the Tacos looked really good.They don't have beer on tap, so the bar looked pretty clean. Pourer covers are kept on all the open bottles so there was NO sign of fruit flies. That's a definite plus.Great job! We'll be back.“

“Watching curling while sitting down for a meal is fun. The pastrami sandwich is excellent, and they have a good pub menu. I must have been there on a slow night because the place was almost empty. I hope that's not the way it is every night, or they won't be around very long.“

“I'd been here before but it was a long time ago. A colleague mentioned the wings were so good so we came just for that.Sadly I was not impressed. Just a matter of preference I suppose. I like my wings SUPER crispy - no rubbery skin for me please. I asked for well done. What I got was very well done in spots with rubbery skin everywhere else and very little sauce. Decent enough flavor but I probably wouldn't order them next time. Everything else was fantastic - ambiance, service - absolutely my kind of place.There is a free parking ramp behind the bar which is awesome because there are 2 other bars right there and the street parking fills up fast during prime time.“

“We were in town for a basketball tournament & a local recommended The Barrel House. There is a lack of parking so we almost didn't go in because there were cars parked everywhere. I called & they said there was no wait. We went into the dining room door first & you basically walk right into people eating, ha! So we turned around and went to the door further down which was the bar side. Worked out great being that's where we'd want to sit anyway! It was seat yourself & we were promptly greeted after sitting down. Our server was very personable. The food arrived quickly. She brought out mine & my husband's & said my sons pancake was almost done but she didn't want our food to get cold. I really appreciated that. When the pancake came out it was still steaming, delicious! We all really enjoyed our food. I had a sausage omlette with hash browns and my husband had a skillet. We will be back!“

“Lunchtime. Not crowded by any means. My server was excellent and attentive to my drinks. I ordered "The Tornado" burger, medium-rare with fries. The burger arrived toward well-done and was just average for flavor. Considering it's a monster with bacon and cheese and an egg with peanut butter, I was expecting more to be going on in my mouth. It was just average. Oh well, the fries were EXCELLENT. Crispy on the outside and very hot!Got out the door for $20 including tip at +20% because she did a great job. So all told, I got what I paid for. It was definitely enough food.“

“First time here, good food, service was good, they made a bigger deal about needing a reservation than it needed to be. We came without a reservation and it felt like we needed an act of Congress to get a table even though the restaurant is only half full. Still a good night out but could have been better,“

“Scoops Is a great place to hang out. They offer daily specials. Happy hours deals. Bingo on the weekends. Great brunch, and dart tournaments at least two times per week. It's a great hang out place for people familiar with the area and the service staff rules!!“

“Food was good. Breakfast pancakes, sausage, and good portion of hash browns. Good normal American comfort food. Service person checked on us three times. She seemed attentive and receptive. Atmosphere is what you expect from your neighborhood bar and grill. Reminds me of playing on three different softball teams and going after the games to get the Mountain Dew and food or most people I guess would be a beer. That kind of place for good friendships and teammates is what it reminded me of.“

“I ordered take out for my family as we're ne5e to the area and wanted to try it out. The fries and fried pickles were really soggy by the time I got back home but did have good flavor. The burgers were good. I'll have to try eating in the resturant so the food doesn't have time to get soggy. I'd recommend trying it.“

“It's a fun local Bar, with the best burgers around. Sitting out on the dog friendly patio with a long Island on a Sunday listening to local Bands is a great pass time. Did I mention they have bingo or meat raffles most nights of the week. Truly a great establishment.“
