Every once in awhile, you run across a restaurant that captures the nuances of flavors. Yes, I said that about this quaint little place in old town Hastings. From the ceiling fans that ran from gears, pulleys & straps, tin tile ceiling, and antique decor, this place is authentic. My Aloha Burger nailed the combination of flavors, subtly.Service was genuine, and we left there with an unusually satisfied feeling.

Stopped in with 5 others for an app and drinks. They were unable to seat us at one table so we were next to each other, had separate bills. My table of 2 got the 6 person 20% upcharge. The other table did not.Unimpressed .

This is a bar, with very decent grill food. Only one server for all the guests made her apologetic, however, slow due to the crowd, she did a great job. Burgers were good fries were OK, undercooked like everywhere seems to serve them, drinks stiff, flight of beers tasty & cold. Venue is classic small town hole in the wall type place we all know & love. Outdoor seating in warm weather.
We didn't eat here, only had some drinks. From what I saw and smelled the food seemed awesome! Place was small town charm, which I love. Great hang out bar and fun!
