This place has potential..but they are charging way over other places that serves better Bahn Mi. The Bahn Mi was more bread than anything else. Couldn't taste the patè or mayo, and no jalapeños!!! It's a no for me..

FOOD IS AMAZING!!! me and my sisters first time trying this place since it is hidden and it was so good and yummy. We tried the pho, Banh mi, spicy chicken wings and Thai tea! Everything was delicious. Didn’t have to flavor the broth of the pho at all, the Banh mi is so delicious, the warm soft bread completes it. Chicken wings is so good. Definitely have to try everything else on their menu! The Thai tea was fresh as well! And their service is amazing too! This place is underrated! Hoping they can expand the dining area soon! This is definitely my new spot to eat at!

Food was good, staff was kind and friendly but the place was quite messy. There were dried noodles and food all over the floor and the seats. It wasn’t busy at all.. maybe better suited for take out than dine in. The food was really delicious!

The pho is great. Flavorful, clear n light. Medium to small sized noodles.... a must get. Nine dollar for the pho with additional add ons. This can be pricey cause I want all the add ons. Ox tail was good; I ate it to the bones. The rice noodles (bun) were average tasting with small size shrimp. Food came out quick. Good service. Small place; about alittle over dozen or so for seating.

I spotted this place as I drove by this fairly new strip mall. The next time I had an urge for Vietnamese food I phone in an order for Bun with grilled pork and thrilled with the fresh, large serving of food I received.

Small location not a ton of seating for dining in but makes sense with their name VN express. This was our first time trying it out and the food was absolutely delicious! The state fair egg rolls are the best around, will definitely be back and definitely recommend giving this place a try!
Delicious, fast, and tasted fresh vs other Asian takeout I've had. Spicy chicken was banging, egg rolls are massive and crispy, and the cream cheese wontons are easily the best I've had in the area. Great takeout and an awesome addition to a growing group of ethnic restaurants in Woodbury. For other reviewers knocking the restaurant for not tasting authentic or like "my mom used to make", kick rocks. People love to put down small businesses and then are upset when they don't have ethnic cuisine outside of the Twin Cities. If you want to be supportive, write constructive feedback specific to a dish vs peanut buttering comments about the whole restaurant.

This is my new place! I never had egg rolls like this before. With their Sweet&Sour and Sesame Chicken, the sauce comes on the side, so you get fresh real chicken cuts, breaded and fried. Fast service and good prices. I'm definitely going back to try the whole menu!Vegetarian options: I just had the veggie fried rice today but it was well worth it. Great serving size for $10!

Ordered take out last night and arrived early so was not expecting my order to be ready. No issues there at all. What I could not get past was watching the kitchen staff sampling food, licking their fingers, and continuing on with food prep without washing their hands. For this reason alone I will never return!! We ordered stir fried vegetables with pork, which was bland and very little pork. The sweet and sour chicken was good, but in my opinion it's hard to screw this up. The egg rolls were good, but again not a lot of flavor. I was very disappointed as VN Express is so close to my house.

One word.....FIYAH it's so flavorful!! The neighboring Vietnamese restaurants need to take notes!! This oxtail pho is Everything!! The oxtail tender,meaty,falling off the bones! And they weren't stingy either,3 nice ones and the eggrolls?! Whole nother post for those! Go try them now!!
