It is difficult to find good employees and for the most part there are a lot of good people working here - just not our server. Thanks to the bartender and waitress working the bar area for helping out.Food was good. I’d return again in hopes of a better experience.

I really want to like B-52. There are just some things you should know before you go:1) It's LOUD. We've eaten in every corner of the restaurant at various visits and this never changes. You'll probably have to shout to hear your table mates. It doesn't even have to be full to be loud, but when it's full, it's hard to have a conversation. At our most recent visit, we just sat in silence because there wasn't much of a point. It's a sad state when you pretty much just want to leave. This is partly because...2) The service varies but has never been great. More than once we've wondered aloud with our party if they'd forgotten we were here... even before menus were distributed. The service and the kitchen are not quick, especially considering the kind of food (bar food) being served. Also at our most recent visit we were distressed by a bartender yelling profanities at a patron. Was the patron being exceptionally rude? Possibly, but if that was the case, where was the manager?3) BEWARE: You will not be notified of upcharges, and they are MANY. At one visit, our waitress was cheerfully making suggestions ("Would you like our seasoned sour cream?", "Would you like fries?", etc...) without telling us each item was an additional few bucks. We were shocked at our bill when we had $20 in add-ons. The waitress gave us a "whoops!" kind of look when we inquired. First of all, $2 for sour cream?! We couldn't believe they'd upcharge us for these simple items to begin with, but they absolutely should be notifying the customer that their suggestive selling is designed to squeeze several more bucks out of already questionably priced food.4) Speaking of the prices, once you get your bill you'll see this is not a good "value" place. It's like the Spirit Airlines of food marketing. For what you get, you'll get better values at several other local establishments. The food is fine. Nothing here is going to "wow" you. (If you carefully peruse the reviews here, you'll see even many of the 5-stars usually have a "but...")We've given B-52 more tries than it deserves. There are two restaurants with better values, better food, better service, and better atmosphere about a block-and-a-half away.Parking: Street parking is limited. There is a free lot behind the building.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly.

We had an unfortunate issue when we sat. Apparently there was a mix up with who was covering our table and it took a while for the server to take our drink order. It was not really a big deal, but when they noticed the mistake the server was very apologetic, and the manager stopped over. Stuff happens, but it was very nice how it was handled after.Great staff and leadership.

Our waiter was excellent. It's amazing how much a good server can make or break a place. First time and came for the burgers and wings. BEST around! Happy to have found a new place.

Good food and great service!Edit: They changed up the wings and not for the better. Over smoked and over cooked. The sauce gets overwhelmed with wood smoke to the point it’s like chewing on a burnt tree. They tried to walk it back but still haven’t gotten back to their previous excellent wings. Tried the bbq shrimp tonight to dodge the smoke. Still over cooked and super tough. Little bbq leather nuggets. Best part about coming here is the service. Waitresses and bartenders are small-town friendly, genuine, and thoughtful. Fix the food and it’s all good.Edit: GM personally came to my table and apologized. They’re trying some different things menu-wise. I still highly recommend them because of their awesome service. You can revamp your menu but you can’t always revamp the people who work for you or the culture you’ve built.
