It has been a while since my last visit to this establishment. The take out menu and ordering is fully online now, which is an improvement from the previous experience. I always liked Tak Shing for the egg foo young and house fried rice. Unfortunately, this time, it was not very good.

Great place for takeout! Local, family-owned, generous portions and affordable. I most recently had the Sesame chicken combo meal, and my husband had the Orange chicken. Both dishes were great. FYI - the Orange chicken comes with some veggies mixed in (broccoli, carrots and baby corn).
Food is great, but it's only takeout. Call ahead and the food is always ready as promised. Staff is responsible and friendly. I love this place! Been going there for years and continue after they changed to takeout only. Highly recommend!

I love their chicken lo mein! I drive 15 minutes just to get it. Good portion sizes for what you pay as well.

We went in for take out. They seemed a bit put off that I asked for steamed chicken and steamed veggies. The chicken was so dry, I couldn't eat it. With that, they were busy. My kid and his girl friend really liked their food. They are Thai and Chinese ... it's not a place if you eat clean like me but again, the kids loved it

Best Chinese in the south metro by far. Prices are great considering the amount of food. Young lady at the front is very nice and funny!
Always consistent quality. Chicken lo main and chicken curry are a favorite. We like them together to kick up the flavor. Generous portions you're going to enjoy some leftovers. Yum ?Parking: Parking right in front. Plenty of spaces. I've even seen pickups with trailers parking along the outer parking lot.

Family favorite for years but not anymore. Pork was completely inedible; tasted like deep fried styrofoam. Chicken was sloppy and artificial tasting. Quality has tanked. Coupled with prices being raised we will not be eating here again.

So we ventured over here just to find its take-out only. Oh well. Scratch another Chinese restaurant off the list. Wengs in Farmington was a another great place to go but it’s also only takeout. Good I guess if you live close.
Meh. Everything we got was very bland. Hot and sour soup was not hot nor spicy. Noodle dishes had little flavor. Shrimp was cooked well but very few shrimp compared to the amount of vegetables. Egg rolls were disappointing. Meh. Only takeout at this time.

Good , slow they are short staffed. On to the next Chinese restaurant! Cali girl is picky. You're in a little entry way placing your order. Two is crowded three not comfortable breathing on each other ya know in a really small area. There's a shield between you and the owner who takes and gives your food credit card with gloves, thank you. Only take out or delivery-

While visiting MSP one of my stops was having dinner at Tak-Shing. Very disappointing that they were only take out. We ate elsewhere. Goodbye, as this was probably our last trip here.

I remember going here as a kid and loved it! In recent years it has really gone down hill.. it's now take out only since COVID. When you go in to pick up your food, I can see why. The food is pretty good! But seeing what the inside of the restaurant looks like makes me worry what the kitchen looks like. ?
