“One of best kept foodie secrets in the state of Minnesota! I can't say enough positive things about McGarry's Pub. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is perfect (especially the back dinning area with the oversized booths and wooden floor), everything is made fresh from scratch and you can order most of the delicacies to take home (loafs of their delicious dark bread, containers of their made from scratch salad dressings, containers of their side dishes, etc). If you haven't tried McGarry's yet, don't even hesitate!“

“Our family came last night and had a blast! We ate dinner- it was really yummy! They have a good variety of food, including the classics for my picky eaters. We had pizza, chicken tenders, quesadillas, and the Mac n cheese. Everything was eaten! Kids ran around and played arcade games and mini golfed. My husband and I even played some games too. They have a LOT of games (more than when I was there last). We basically stayed until closing because we were having so much fun. We will definitely be back!“

“The food is fantastic. We sat by the bar, and it got a bit loud. There are different areas though that would seem right for dates, family eating and even events. The staff is very friendly and helpful. While our actual waiter was less impressive, the manager was friendly and stopped by to see how things were. When she noticed we were done eating, she cleared our dishes right away. My son also broke a glass. The bartender and another waiter came over to clear the glass and wipe up the spill. Great sandwiches, I tried the small plate reubens and they were delicious. They have daily specials which are also on the chalkboard. I think that they have live music here too. “The point of this place is to get drunk and socialize, and you can absolutely accomplish that here. They've ruined the atmosphere with the stage they added a few years back for bands. I know the intention was good, but bands could fit a smaller footprint without the stage, and it's a single room that absolutely does not need elevation. We played there for years, and having room for people to dance made the experience wonderful. Those days are gone.“

“I can’t say enough positive things about the catering at the Maple Grove location. I had ordered sloppy joes for my Labor Day weekend camping trip. When I went to cook the meat, I discovered that they had given me taco meat instead. Which was, of course, disappointing. I called them the next day to let them know, and they couldn’t have been more apologetic and accommodating. No excuses were made. They just asked how they can make it right. I told the catering manager that all I really wanted were the sloppy joes and he insisted that he provide a side of my choice;anything I wanted. They made it all available for me the very next day and added mac and cheese to my order. When I arrived, the manager greeted me and asked me if there was anything else I might need. Customer service!! That is so rare these days and goes a long way!! I will continue to go to Hy-Vee because of the way I was treated! And all of the food was delicious!! Highly recommend!“
