“This is a great local tavern with a sporty/fun vibe and tasty food. The loaded Brussel sprouts are unbelievable, and the Reuben is actually a chunk of roasted corned beef that brings this tasty sandwich to a whole new level. Cold beer, free popcorn, and a great drink selection are a bonus. Don't hesitate to check this hidden gem out!“

“Love the ambiance and vibe of this establishment and so did everyone else as it was a full house! All of their food was restaurant recipes and not frozen food type if you know what I mean and I wanted to try everything on the menu! We narrowed it down to their wings, I was skeptical of chicken thigh style wings but pleasantly surprised they were amazing, lightly battered and meaty!!! The burgers were double patty, fresh bakery buns and delicious; side choices house made chips or fries. Guests next to me had fresh battered fish and the cheese curds, they gave two thumbs up too and said they do date night here every week❤️ Service was friendly and professional and a little slower to take our food order but again they were slammed not their fault. Food came out promptly. Now onto the drinks, they had a house beverage list with plenty of options but I will say for $12-$13 a drink that came with a huge ice cube I had it devoured in a few sips; I’d like more bang for my buck here and due to that I refrained from ordering another drink and resorted to a beer. I can’t wait to come back and try everything on the food menu! Desserts I was too full for but nice house made options.“

“Cool little dive bar-esque spot that happens to have a huge music hall in the back. Came for a concert. Concert was solid and the venue is not too big not too small. Good acoustics and the staff was pretty efficient and made you feel safe without standing over you.Food was meh, I had the shwarma Burger which I was kinda excited about as it seemed unique. It was again just kinda meh. Thin patty they throw some spice on. The pickled cabbage was delightful however and the bun was good. I also really liked this orange spicy sauce that was like a aioli I think. Chips were house made which is a plus but again - shwarma spices all over and not great. I asked for ketchup when I first got the Burger and the lady kinda sighed and rolled her eyes which was the only bad service experience I had here. Overall, I'd skip the food going forward.Drinks were good, bartender knowledgeable and nice like a bartender should be. Getting in the door was kinda a hassle for some reason and it took awhile standing outside, but not completely ridiculous by any means. Parking is easy either on street or in a 20 dollar ramp connected to this place.Overall I'd go back for the bands and the booze, but the food - even for bar food - was not anything good.“

“NEW POST;I wish to add to the original post after the restaurant manager reached out after the review. It was nice to know that this is an establishment that wants to make right and rectify a situation in hopes of making it a positive experience. The service was very friendly and accommodating and worth a stop. My husband and I did very much enjoy some local beers at the bar and because of the time taken by the manager, we would stop back if ever in St. Paul again. Thanks Josh for being a caring and professional leader.ORIGINAL POST;My husband and I were staying at the hotel for an event in town. We came down to the bar around 3 to have drinks while we waited for the kitchen to open at 4. At 4, he ordered an appetizer of 6 piece dry rub chicken wings. I ordered a 6 piece of blackberry glazed wings. We were both extremely hungry as we hadn’t eaten since breakfast. I had one of mine and thought it was horribly dry. He had one of his and apparently thought the same because we each had two of our own, and couldn’t eat anymore despite our hunger. The bartender came to clear our plates and asked, “was everything amazing?” We said unfortunately it wasn’t, it was dry and we couldn’t eat anymore. He said , “I’m sorry”, took the baskets, and that was it. We were charged for both appetizers, still tipped well, and went somewhere else for good food. Very disappointing the lack of customer care. We were never mean or impolite. Hope they improve for the next visitor.“
