I love to eat at this place every time I get to Mankato! I noticed that the people working seemed a little irritated that I wanted my sandwich a special way! With as much as they charge and as many other options as a person has to choose over their business, I thought that they could have been more pleasant, even though I did ask to have several of the items removed from my sandwich! And on top of that, you would think that they would appreciate someone getting a sandwich with just the meat, cheese and onions! That means that they don't have to put all that other stuff on it which equals more work!But if you want real steak and to have it made hot and fresh and they fry it in front of you, I do recommend you try this place at least once!! They do have chicken too! The loaded fries were hot and fresh too!!

My family of three eat at Charleys avery other week.Last time was not very good. First 3 people got their order before we did and we were ahead of them. Our french fries were baged and sat on a counter while the people in back of us were waited on. The gal who was suppost to make our sandwiches was busy talking spanish to a friend while our food was getting cold. All the employees were new.s
Great as always! Never been disappointed with this place yet. Staff is friendly and inviting, service is quick, and food is delicious as always. Keep it up Staff!

I've been eating here with my family since 2011 and it was good. Today's experience was a strange one. I ordered philly cheesesteak sandwich that I've been watching them cook for the last 10 years or so. The place was empty and the workers were not busy. I was watching how a young man grilled the meat for the sandwich but probably forgot to put cheese on top of the meat while grilling. The grilled meat was then placed on the bread but two slices of cold provolone cheese were thrown on top and handed to me. I pointed out that the cheese was not grilled as usual and that it was a cold piece of cheese not belonging to the sandwich. The lady started telling me they always prepare the grilled sandwich this way - I guess I missed prior 10 years of experience. I then wrapped the sandwich and tried to warm up the cheese inside the sandwich, which slightly melted it but barely satisfied my family when it comes to taste and experience.
