Went to a business meeting at the Mayo Civic ctr and I was one of the first to arrive in the morning. The coffee was barely lukewarm and the pop they set out for non coffee drinkers was warm and not put on ice. Later the lunch (lasagna) was burnt and cold, the garlic toast was almost unchewable. On the other hand the salad was above average. Sadly event sponsors dont have a choice of caterers and must use this catering service. The city of Mankato should bid the services out especially since the owner is the Mayor of the City.

I'd give it zero stars if I could. It's what I'd imagine prison food is like. Canned veggies, reheated (seemed like reused) chicken, Hy-Vee cookies called homemade... For what you pay, it's just really bad. I've attended multiple events and had the same robotic service and coldish food served straight from a warming rack. The water was warmer than the food last time.

Our head table wasn't served because my husband is a talker and didn't finish his salad right away like everyone else. The bride had to ask for them to serve the head table. It was a disappointment that we would be served last. I reached out after the wedding and was told it is their policy to serve the head table once the bride and groom are done with their salads. In the meantime they serve all of the guests. this through our dj off as he asked us twice if we were ready for speeches. we had to tell him no because we were still eating. If you plan on having them cater your wedding...make sure you tell them in detail when you want to be served so you don't get served last like we were.

My experience with Najwa is as a wedding photographer and videographer who worked with her crew yesterday. They were highly professional when presented with some challenges, and the food was excellent. What I personally (and professionally) appreciate most though, is how well Najwa and her team worked with me — at a wedding, vendors working together makes all the difference in how smoothly the event goes and the experience of client and guests alike.
