First, let me state that we did not have any pie. We stopped for lunch and my wife and I had a burger with fries. We were both happy with our food. We would rate the burger average. Food was prepared properly as we expected. The person taking our order did a good job and our food was served pretty quick. The staff was friendly. As we were leaving more people had arrived and were waiting on tables. This did surprise me since it was a Thursday, not a weekend. We will probably return some day and try some of the pies. But probably will not drive the distance for just lunch.

Awesome little old cafe. An old farm house turned burger restaurant. Staff is super friendly. Awesome burgers, fries, onion rings and pies. Can't wait to go back. Cool nick nacks all over the place. Wall mounted pay phone for those of us who remember them. Nice little park across the parking lot to eat our lunch.

A little off the main drag but not far and very worth it! Small little place, staff does an amazing job of putting out a ton of food. Only a few tables inside but there's a park that has tables too. Cute spot next to the river and the dam. Amazing food - very fresh and tasty. Very reasonable prices. Bring cash - no cards accepted. No wifi (not a complaint - nice to be unplugged at such a beautiful location) and their telephone is an old fashion pay phone. Plenty parking. Only downside is it's not closer to home ?

Our first time. Our burgers were delicious. But the pie selection was very limited because of the publicity about the cafe recently on a local tv channel, nice weather, and the cafe is closing for the season at end of October. We had slices of Sour Cream Raspberry and Candy Apple pies.

My friend and I each had a burger. Dry tasteless. Not a large burger either, but neither of us finished it. The pie was ok. Not very exciting. We really wanted to like this place because the people were so nice. Sad to say it fell short of the other ratings. Wish their menu was bigger, and their burger had flavor, and was juicy.

Great time capsule! Burgers were good. Onion rings were excellent. Fun walking out on the dam. The pie is worth the trip.
Exactly as we pictured it! Kind of Fried Green Tomatoes meets 50's diner vibe. Service was a little slow but it was so worth it! Our group had the chicken salad sandwich (delicious), a cheeseburger and a grilled chicken sandwich.... all were great! Dessert was Coconut Cream, Strawberry Cream and Pumpkin Crunch pie slices..... sooooooo good! We'll be back!
