Friend and I stopped to get a pretzel as we were swinging by the mall to run an errand. It was just after 7pm. The staff informed us they were done making anything for the day. We settled for a regular pretzel each, which was what was available. I ordered first than my friend ordered. They had an issue than had my friend tap her payment again because they thought it didn't go through. She was double charged for her pretzel. She consulted the staff and showed them that it shows she was charged twice. It took them over 20 minutes to figure out how to fix it.. There was no sorry, no nothing, they simply acted like they didn't believe her and kept asking to see the transactions on her bank app multiple times. My friend was persistent on trying to get them to fix the issue. Finally after about a half hour of them not knowing what to do, they finally gave her a cash refund. We both didnt understand why that was so hard to comprehend and fix. Not to mention the pretzels were rock hard. They had to have been atleast 2 hours old. I couldn't even eat mine and I wasn't about to even bother telling them about it because they didn't care. While we were there, they turned down atleast 10 customers because they quit making food well before closing time and refused to make new stuff. In my opinion, that's not good for any business. For the price we paid for a pretzel and $1.79 for a little thing of cheese, you'd think the service would have been just a tad better. Seems to be a common trend these days, pay more get less.

rude staff, asked for cheesy hotdog bites and they said it was a 20 minute wait so we waited. then said they only had 1 so we had to wait another 20 minutes and they then made the wrong ones so i’m waiting 20 minutes again. not impressed

Me and my friend came from many hours away. We stopped here and thought it would be a good quick snack. We got the pizza bites. The pizza sauce made our tongue burn and itch terribly. My tongue started turning numb and swelling. It has been 34 minutes and my tongue is still numb. Do not recommend!!!!

Pretzels were tough and the lemonade was watery. I would have let it slide and not written anything, but the cost we were charged for 2 "mini meals," which are a pretzel, dip, and a drink, came to $26.85. If I had known a "mini meal" was over $13 I would have walked past, but their prices aren't exactly clearly listed. Hence the review, so that now you know.

There is nothing I love more at the mall then a quick bite to eat as I stroll and window shop. Most times, Im craving a fresh pretzel and a lemonade. That’s a perfect lunch in my opinion! In Mankato, the Wetzel’s team will always prepare your order fresh should you request it and are very friendly about it. It’s this type of service that keeps me digging in my purse for extra tip $. They do serve combo meals here besides just pretzels/ snacks. Enjoy!
