This is a gem . From the service to the huge portions . It feels like going to grandmas house . I've never been disappointed. My son always gets extra treatment . From the hot chocolate to suckers after breakfast. We were the only table as we arrived just before closing at 11am. Be sure to bring cash . Check this place out .

Took time to look up their menu to place a pick up order. Called the restaurant... "Hello can I place a pickup order!?" Man answering the phone, "no. We are not taking pickup orders today". It is not easy to bring a toddler and a newborn out to eat just to have breakfast. We are visiting from out of town and was hoping to have breakfast that wasn't burger king or kwiktrip. Thank you for nothing but bad service.

Tonight I ordered Meatball's and mashed potatoes and gravy and a pot pie. When I arrived to pick up my food, the owner was very upset because she had overcooked the meatballs. They said they wouldn't let me pay for any food and gave me an extra pot pie and some fruit salad. When I got home I was blown away because the meatballs were exactly how I would have cooked them at my house and they were The most delicious meatballs I have had in a long time. I've never been disappointed in the food or service at this place in town and I will be back over and over again.

Every good review point others have posted is true. The place is charming and friendly. The food is EXCEPTIONAL. Portions are rather large. Service is fast, but no one need feel rushed. Only negative might be that the hours are quite limited. We left the restaurant full, but made a plan to return before we even got in the car.
