I've eaten here since I was little. Go here for my birthday every year. Today when we walked in at 5pm (on a Tuesday) the tables were half taken at most and no one was in the lobby waiting. The hostesses were rude. They looked at the computer for a bit, then said "sorry it's a 45 minute wait". We said, really? But there are so many empty tables? The second hostess said. "We have reservations coming in, you'll have to wait 45 minutes". So they turned us out. I felt like we weren't welcome. It was embarrassing. How do you turn people away when no one is in the lobby? I've waited 45 min here when the lobby is packed. If you're understaffed or something say so. Went to Pittsburg Blue across the parking lot. They appeared to only have a couple of empty tables but seated us right away.

Stopped for dinner on our way into Minneapolis. No reservation so we sat at a high top in the bar next to the fireplace. We ordered a white sangria and a red sangria. Both were very good, but I preferred the white as it was light and peachy! The bacon wrapped dates as an appetizer were phenomenal! They were served in a maple syrup/balsamic sauce and could easily share with 4 as there were 12. The fresh bread and olive oil/parm cheese was incredible. Ordered lasagna and butter nut squash ravioli. Both were amazing! Cooked perfectly and flavor was spot on. No room for dessert, but the service was outstanding!

We went for an anniversary dinner on a Saturday night.Stuffed mushrooms 4/5 - These were good. Mushrooms were flavorful and the cheesy tomatoes stuff in the middle was good.Crab cakes 5/5 - For the money, these are some of the best crab cakes you will find in the cities. The spicy mayo on the side is delicious as well.Mussels 3/5 - These are an off the menu item. They were good today but not as good as they have been. They lacked flavor today.Chicken marsala 3/5 - The mashed potatoes and gravy were good but the chicken was very tough. It was hard to cut.Shrimp oreganata 4/5 - This is a solid dish. You get 6 nice sized shrimp and the sauce is very good.Scallop risotto 4/5 - Scallops were cooked perfect. They had a nice sear on the outside. And the risotto is nice and creamy.Key lime pie 4/5 - It had a nice marshmallow topping on it. The filling was nice and tart. There was a slight char flavor to it because they tried to brulee it a little it it really just burned the crust a little.Katelyn was a fantastic server. She was very kind and made our evening even better.Biaggi's is always a happening place. They are busy, which is a good sign. They are very consistent.

Great food and amazing service. Don't expect to pay under $100 for more than one person but for special occasions it's worth it.
